Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Sainte-Julienne

Was just in to order at the counter. A bit of a line, but understandable as it's noon on a Sunday in the summer. After ordering a single donut and a medium cafe mocha I too my donut to wait for my drink and watched the staff fill orders. There were at least 8 staff on shift but people seemed to be waiting a while for their orders. At least 2 orders in front of me had errors that needed to be corrected, with one staff handling a muffin with no protective gloves or paper, returning it to the display case. I then saw the people behind me greeted as friends as they ordered. They then got their drink before mine, as did the person who followed them, before I had to remind them that I had still not received my beverage. All in all the staff seemed more concerned with chatting and singing amongst themselves rather than serving customers and completing orders. Having worked as a manager at a Dairy Queen I am fine when staff want to be friendly with eachother and chatting, but when there are no customers waiting to be served. Not impressed to say the least. Terrible expérience. I ordered a wrap with bacon and sausage and they said wrap travailleur. I asked if they could put the has brown on the side because I DONT WANT IT IN? They said I will have to charge you. What is the difference between having the hash brown in the wrap vs giving it to me on the side? Are you not giving me the hash brown anyways.??? I told them to charge the wrap travailleur and just put the hash brown on the side however that was too complicated for them to comprehend. They said I have to charge extra for the hash brown although charging the wrap travailleur already. Customer service is lost in this place. a gazillion kudos to the staff; not only was the service great but also swift and honest. I forgot my shoulder satchel with all my ID's and credit cards in it. I was back in Montreal (home) when I realized I had left it hanging on the back of a chair. PANIC!
