Café Bistro - l'Anse aux Coques — Restaurant in Sainte-Luce

Overpriced for what it is. The menu is extremely limited for people who do not eat seafood (which I can somewhat forgive considering its location). We got a pizza and some Calabrese pennes, and one thing ill give the restaurant is that the service was very fast and the server was really nice, but thats about as fair as my praises will go. The pizza was like cardboard and honestly looked/tasted like something out of the frozen section of the grocery store, the pasta was dry and the tomato sauce was watery. Sometimes you have to queue at the door but it is worth it. Even the table we had at the back of the restaurant gave us a seaview. We arrived without a reservation early on a Saturday evening and only waited a few minutes before being shown to our table. You'll wait longer for a table on the terrace. The restaurant is large and airy and well appointed and delightfully decorated. The food is excellent and well presented. The price ranged from $Can 25 -38 for mains. Incroyable comment une personne (serveuse) peut faire toute une différence…

Le restaurant L’anse au coq était notre incontournable lors de nos passages estivals dans la région de St-Luce. Comme à l’habitude, nous sommes entrés pour déguster notre cocktail, mais pour une raison que j’ignore, notre serveuse n’était pas satisfaite que nous allions seulement prendre un bon moment de notre vacances pour profiter de leur belle terrasse sans manger. On s’est fait servir notre facture quand notre verre était encore plein avec elle qui attendait de se faire payer. Elle ne nous a jamais demandé si nous voulions avoir autre chose. Je sais qu’un restaurant opère pour faire de l’argent avec un menu à manger, mais quand on prend en considération que le prix d’un cocktail est plus cher qu’un entrée, il n’y a pas de différence.

Il y a une multitude de chose qui détermine le succès d’un restaurant et une chose qui est certaine, c’est le service. Alors, Mme Levesque, vous avez réussi à nous faire décontourner dans le futur votre restaurant et aller profiter du bon temps ailleurs avec aucune recommandation de notre part.
