Café des Pins — Restaurant in Sainte-Lucie-des-Laurentides

I recently visited Café Des Pins in Saint-Lucie with a friend, and what a wonderful surprise it turned out to be. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff made me feel right at home.

The restaurant serves simple, hearty meals that are full of flavor, generously portioned, and reasonably priced. I ordered the chicken noodle soup along with a chicken wrap, and both were absolutely delicious, the soup especially stood out as rich, comforting, and very satisfying.

I also enjoyed sitting out on the balcony, taking in the serene lake view, which added to the overall charm of the experience.

Beyond the food, the café features a small market selling locally made products, everything from lip balms and soaps to jams, teas, and snack packs. Browsing through the shop was a delightful addition to my visit.

J’ai commandé un panini au jambon en spécifiant sans salade, juste le panini, elle me demande, si je veux une salade de pâte ou verte, je mentionne à nouveau, juste le panini. Je demande une 1664 sans alcool et je prends un biscuit à l’avoine. Je vois dans le nouvel écran que la 1664 n’est pas inscrite, j’informe et elle ajoute la 1664 en me mentionnant que je veux une boréale… je précise que je veux une 1664, elle enlève la ligne et discute avec une collègue, elle rajoute la ligne qui couvre la 1664 et la boréale. Je demande de me la donner tout de suite pour éviter de me l’apporter à la table et que je vais la boire à la bouteille sans verre, elle me donne une corona en canne, je précise à nouveau que je veux une 1664, elle me donne la 1664 sans l’ouvrir, je lui indique que je suis incapable de l’ouvrir par moi-même, elle l’ouvre et me la donne avec un verre, je prends juste la bouteille et le biscuit. En attendant mon panini, je mange la moitié de mon biscuit avec la bière, je vais m’en chercher une autre, elle me demande si cela est pour apporter ou pour ici, je précise que c’est pour ici, car je n’ai pas encore reçu mon panini. Je termine ma 2e bière et la fin du biscuit, presque une heure de passé, je quitte en informant la cuisine qu’elles peuvent manger mon panini, je dois quitter, la fille me répond avec un grand sourire qu’elle n’a pas de panini et peut m’offrir autre chose… Plus jamais!
