The food was good, but service definitely ruined the experience.

At first we were seated at a table pushed into a corner, by one of the large garage-like doors, so we were very cold. The table was placed directly by the stage, squished behind two other tables. Making it hard for us to get to our seats and for the staff to get to us. We were quite upset, as there were other tables available. We were told that the restaurant would like to keep them in case any parties of four came in...

We then waited at least 10 minutes for the server to pass by our table to offer drinks. We then waited another 20 minutes for our pitcher of beer to arrive. At that point, we still hadn't ordered. After dropping off the pitcher, the waiter ran off saying he'd be back in a few to take our orders. We again waited another 10 minutes. After ordering, we waited atleast 30 minutes for our food to arrive.

While we did enjoy the food, we did not appreciate the excruciatingly long wait time and the lack of attention by the staff. (Instead of actually serving, many were sitting at the bar chatting). I feel bad for the barman, who seemed to be the only person actually working in the front of the restaurant.

Our server never passed by throughout the meal to check if all was good. Similarly to the rest of the meal, we had to wait a long time before he actually came by to check if we were ready to pay.

We were around 45 people and had to order the group menu. Staff was quite good but forgot to come see us alot of the time. The big problem came from the actual dinner. I ordered the braised beef and it came to me rock hard. It was like chewing a dirty carpet. I asked the waitress for more sauce to make it better so she brought me some. She said if you don't like it let me know she can change it. She never came back!!!! So the bus girl came to clear the tables and I told her to tell the waitress that I didn't eat it because it was terrible (practically inedible). She said she would let my waitress know and took my plate that was still full of food. Night went by amd the waitress never approached me about it ans then I got charged 36+$ for it!!!!! I DIDNT EVEN EAT THE MEAL IT WAS SO BAD. Worst part was we bought all kinds of drinks, so considering we were gonna be good clients, didn't feel like it. Never going back...

Food was disappointing as hell. Beets tartare sounded amazing… it was just blend and boring. Beef tartare didnt look fresh at all nor taste as it should. Beef balls was described as having a honey mustard sauce… it was straight up dijon mustard. When it was time to pay, the lady said she couldn’t try to give me a 50% discount on the balls we didn’t even eat since it was totally a different taste than the description. I refused to pay for something i didn’t eat, she said she couldn’t do the change as no managers was there. She came back and magically the charge was gone… i wont go back there again at all, so...
