The Twisted Monkey Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Saskatoon

A lot went wrong with my last experience. I ordered a good a water with 2 limes. The limes were so dry it wouldn't have mattered if I put 2 full limes in it. I asked the waitress for bar lime. Meanwhile, we ordered our food and my friend ordered another beer as well. An hour later, still no bar lime, still no beer and still no food. I had to continuously go up to the bar and get drinks for our table. Still no food. I finally asked if our food was coming after a hour and a half. I was told right away. Food comes out shortly after. No cutlery, no napkins, no dip, no nothing. Half my order was missing and my calzone was cold and not cooked. The other part of my order was a poutine. I watched as a table got their poutine well after I had ordered. Server did not come to check on us at all. Otherwise she would have known we were not happy. She blamed everything on the kitchen. Pretty sure it's not the kitchens job to get our drinks or bring out essentials to eat. She took the calzone and the poutine off, rightfully so but our bill was still close to $100 when she screwed up on everything we wanted. We went there to have some drinks and a bite to eat. New Name: Twisted Monkeyz (dishonest staff) I would always choose to pay by cash as the staff load customer tabs with extra drinks & then choose to argue with you when you try to explain which are/aren't your charges! They add their drinks & their friends drinks to your tab. Untrustworthy staff makes for shady business. This has been witnessed at both locations.

Food was good but now just average.

Drink prices and specials are average, and that is hoping they have what's on the menu!

The operating hours should be as follows: opening - 6 pm for regulars... 6 pm - closing for all the rowdies, drug users/addicts, which is their preferred clientele/income.

This pub is a sister to RocknRodz, both west end and run almost exactly the same.

Rock n Robberz allows children, but to be honest the washrooms are so far from the dining room & children have to go through the primary pub area where all the drunks are swearing etc, never a place to bring your little ones. People sleeping at the tables, VLT room & outside the front door is normal behavior!

Your servers at both locations are always drinking shooters and that is terrifying when they're handling your cash...

Went to a steak night, we ordered medium rare steak and got it and it was basically raw and still cold with uncooked fat in it. We asked if we can get another steak but instead the owner told us “we should of told them that we wanted medium rare” when we wrote it right ok the tickets. We didn’t get any steak just fries, garlic bread and Caesar salad. The waitress apologized which was appreciated but we told her it wasn’t her fault and that she shouldn’t apologize for other peoples doing. It definitely wasn’t for us and won’t be going back.

UPDATE** The worker Raven Reid messaged me, belittling me about this review. She stated the “owner” tried to reach out but never received a message. This is my truth, and this place wasn’t my cup of tea but to harass someone to take down the review looks very unprofessional for this business more then my review does.
