Husky House Restaurant — Restaurant in Sault Ste. Marie

The review down below was from when I was coming in frequently. Today's experience means I'll probably never come back.

I never get the vegetables with my meals here because they are always watery and soggy. Corn. Carrots. It doesn't matter. I ordered a green salad instead so did get charged extra. Kept moving the lettuce with the black bits off to the side. Salad overall was underwhelming. Thanksgiving Monday I thought they might have Thanksgiving dinner on offer but no. The hot turkey sandwich had a big gelatinous wad of something. Cook later said it was skin. Another chunk of turkey was held together with something i didnt want to put in my mouth. If you are putting together a sandwich do you not look at what you are putting in it? I ate half the salad and maybe a 3rd of a lump of mash potato. They didn't remove the sandwich from my bill and offered to remake it. Why would I want another sandwich made by someone who didn't pay much attention the first time? If they made me another sandwich they would still be out money.

This place has gone downhill. Decorations have been taken off the walls. No real character left to the place.

If you are hungry try Chummy's. It's not that far away. .......... It's a diner. Food is good and good value for the price. Be very hungry...

I had an amazing experience at The husky in Sault ste marie. But what really made my visit special was the outstanding service from Cindy and Annabelle.

Cindy was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and offering great recommendations. Annabelle was just as wonderful—super cheerful and engaging, making us feel right at home. Their teamwork and positive energy truly elevated our dining experience.

The food was delicious, and the entire restaurant had such a warm and welcoming vibe. If you’re looking for great food, a fun environment, and top-notch service, this is the place to be! Can’t wait to come back!

I wasnt expecting anything fancy but this place should not be called a restaraunt how can it be a restaraunt when noting is made fresh, all the food was heated from frozen or pre packaged. I thought i was going to get an actual home cooked meal but what i actually got was some processed slop that I could have got at the can and frozen aisle for under $5 this should literally be illegal, honest businesses are forced to close due to covid restrictions, but this business can get away with opening a $5 grocery store pie cut it into 10 slices freeze them and sell each for $5 its imoral and probably unsanitary but they are...
