BeaverTails- Queues de Castor (Peterborough) — Restaurant in Selwyn

We recently visited this BeaverTails location and had a fantastic experience! We tried the pistachio BeaverTail, since pistachios are all the rage right now, and it was sooo good. Served warm, it was topped with a rich pistachio spread, crushed pistachios, and a drizzle of honey. The flavor was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet.

The kids went for the oreo crumble BeaverTail and loved it so much they’ve already asked for it on their birthdays! We also ordered fries, which were crispy, golden, and a definite hit with the kids.

Also I don't know if people know this, but this place has some outdoor seating. We enjoyed everything right on site. There are three picnic tables, with umbrellas, a gazebo with extra seating, and even some lawn games to keep the little ones entertained. I drove an hour today to follow through with a promise to my daughter that I would take her to BeaverTails, since she has been bagging to go. The fryers were being worked on and waited a little, the man working inside was so kind and followed through with his word that he would make our wait worth while. We both got a poutine they both were delicious (I never eat them, not my favourite but this one was the best) and of course the BeaverTails were amazing as well!! Worth the drive for sure!!!! Extremely plesant! The people who served us all three times were delightful! Everyone was kind, and the area they've chosen is stellar, wonderful tables and gazebo. The Beavertail is the BEST and this is the only place I'm going to get them now. The Pastry is perfectly done, not too thin and wonderfully topped.
