Country Bob’s Chip Truck is everything you want in a classic roadside chip truck—delicious food, generous portions, and friendly service. It’s one of those places that delivers comfort food done right, and it definitely deserves 5 stars. The poutine was the highlight for me. It came loaded with cheese curds, perfectly melted into the rich, flavorful gravy, and piled on top of hot, crispy fries. It was absolutely delicious and easily one of the better poutines I’ve had. The rest of the menu is equally tempting, with great prices that make it easy to treat yourself without breaking the bank. Service was another strong point. The staff were quick, efficient, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Despite being busy, the food came out fast and fresh, showing that they really know how to keep things running smoothly. The location is also super convenient—right next to a gas station, making it an easy stop whether you’re fueling up or just passing through. Cannot recommend Country Bob's enough to anyone visiting, or passing through Buckhorn. We've had a family cottage here for over fifty years, and their chip/burger truck has become a staple of the community. I have been taking family and friends here since they first opened years ago, and they have consistently provided quality, food truck style burgers and fries since day one. DEFINITELY stop by and grab a bite if you find yourself in the area.

It makes me laugh that the only negative reviews for Country Bob's are from people talking about "walking in there" and "waiters" etc. This is a chip truck / food truck so you don't walk inside and they don't have waiters! LOL! It's obvious that they are trolls who have never been here and are just trying to ruin someone's business. Well, I have been there (many times!) and it is the best food truck in the area, province, and country hands down!!!
