Pretty good Chinese food! Got takeout from here a few nights ago and the girl who took my order was very friendly and very knowledgeable about menu items and ingredients. She also accommodated our request for no MSG for the dishes we ordered and told us that the egg rolls were the only dish that it couldn't be removed from, so we were very grateful that she told us that upfront.

We ordered Mushroom Fried Rice which was very tasty, Singapore Vermicelli which was delicious, Egg Rolls which had a nice flavour and crispy breading but the filling inside was a bit too salty, and Fried Chicken Wings which I didn't like but my mom enjoyed them.

In terms of size, both the noodles and rice dishes were pretty large. I think they were both around $10 each which was a great price, especially for how tasty they were! The egg rolls were normal size but I found the price of $2 each to be a bit high, especially when they weren't anything special. If they were homemade or bigger or mouth watering, then the $2 would be totally worth it but unfortunately they weren't. The worst dish was definitely the chicken wings which I would never order again. It was about 10 wings in a tiny box and they were the most expensive item at $15! They weren't anything special. Just greasy, flavourless, fried wings with very little meat on them.

It needs to be understood that this place is take out Chinese food only, there is no dining in. I arrived at 5 p.m. on a Sunday and the place was actually quite busy with people placing orders. I placed an order for 5 items from the menu and because it was very busy it took 25 minutes for it to be ready. Totally understandable due to how busy they were. Food was very good except for a couple of things. There was far too much salt and too much MSG in all the dishes. The cook needs to add far less salt and MSG to the dishes they prepare. Other than that the portions were wonderful and everything was fresh. The prices for the dishes are quite reasonable and there is quite a variety but it is Canadian Chinese food. Nothing exotic is on the menu but all of the standard Canadian Chinese foods are there. I would have given it four out of five or five stars except for the chefs overuse of salt and MSG. If you place an order over the phone or you come in to the restaurant and place an order I would recommend you tell them you don't want any added salt or MSG added...

Went to order food. Like most restaurants like this they want to limit the spend for visa because visa charges a fee. This I totally understand. However their minimum spend is 30 dollars and I was ordering for 1. My order total was 30 dollars. They chose not to accept Visa, so I opted to leave. So people know, visa charges typically 2 to 3% on these transactions. So it's about a dollar for the 30 dollars I was trying to spend. The restaurant could make this simple. Just charge $1 for each visa transaction under 30 bucks. They would actually average making a few cents more I suspect for each transaction. Anyways. Word to the owners, allow someone to buy something for 10 bucks on visa and just charge them a dollar. I'm sure most would still accept such fee.
