If you are in the Kootenays do not miss this spot! The baked goods are amazing. Spinach Feta Quiche is my wife’s absolute favorite. Great Paninis. Seriously any of the cheese cakes, or desserts are nothing you would expect to find in cute little Silverton BC. The building is vintage mining western storefront. Great indoor seating and a fantastic patio space to enjoy views under Mt. Idaho and the Valhallas. If she has any carrot cake left, eat a piece there and take one to go - my favorite! Oh yea. Great coffee. If any place deserves 6 stars… The friendly owner, great atmosphere, AMAZING food and coffee drinks are worth a trip to beautiful Silverton for a visit. The Camp Cafe sets the bar for coffee culture in the mountains. After being on the road for some time, what was initially a quick stop turned into a leisurely afternoon sitting at the cafe bar sipping perhaps some of the best coffee of our five day road trip through BC and devouring vegan fairy cakes and other baked delights this little place whips up. Did not have anything from the main menu, but the dishes that passed us by smelled and looked incredible. I came through the incredible village of Silverton in May and decided to stop into Camp Cafe on a whim. What a great choice we made! We had the sweetest host, who prepared our coffees and paninis for us and was happy to hear we were visiting for business from the Toronto area. She even sent us off with a care package of desserts and a heartfelt note saying "safe travels". I love our beautiful Country and places/settings like this are the exact reason why.
