One of the best meals of my life. Everything we tried on the menu here was amazing. We had chowder (so much lobster in it), lobster dip (my adult kids were still raving about it as we left), loaded fries (something different and awesome), Lobster Dinner (was pre-cracked in all the right places making it easier to eat) was so fresh and tasty - as were all the fix-ins - be sure to dip that tea biscuit in the butter, and the desserts were above and beyond. You gotta eat here!

What a beautiful restaurant! The interior reminds me of a beach house. The views are breath-taking! I can see why they would host weddings here. The food was excellent, seafood chowder and lobster rolls delicious! Shelly was super interesting to talk to and very knowledgeable about the lobster industry. The cook was friendly too. Such a pleasant lunch! Thank you for making my husband and myself feel so welcomed!

So we actually stayed at the Airbnb that is attached to the fiddling fisherman. I loved that we were able to just wander next door for some fresh coffee and Mimosas in the morning! The staff was lovely, I enjoyed a nice chat with them in the mornings. I didn't actually eat any of their food but my daughter and her fiance did and they really enjoyed it. They couldn't stop raving about the ice coffee.

This looked like a great place to eat in Souris, but we left underwhelmed. The views are awesome, but we could not get seated on the patio deck, but there could be more seating if they added a few more tables. The decor is very nice with ample seating inside. Our waitress was awesome and tended to our needs. The drawbacks. Very cold A/C inside. So much that we had to retrieve sweaters from the vehicle. Some other patrons went outside to warm up while waiting for their food. The waitress even said she would wear a sweater if allowed. Our friends ordered the club sandwiches, which were good but a little overpriced. The side coleslaw was very small. My wife and I ordered the seafood chowder. While there were large chunks of lobster and scallops in it, it tasted like warm cream poured over it. The buns were tasty. The chowder was overpriced at $22 for the portion and quality. This restaurant could be a great dinner destination, but it...

We missed our ferry at 1pm to Madeline. So went here for lunch on a win. Wow, best lunch with fish and chips (or choices of a side) The fish was lightly breaded and pan fried. OMG best fish and chips , fish so moist. The side we choose was a salad and again fresher than fresh.

We decided to go back for dinner. The bacon wrapped local scallops were heavenly. Then had the seafood chowder for and it was full of scallops, lobster, haddock beyond and it was more broth versus heavy cream. The team at Lookout were amazing with service and attentiveness Julie the owner and Jen the chef absolutely care about the whole experience. Going to come back just to try other things on the menu. Thanks so much for 2...

I had the fish and chips for lunch. Very disappointed. The fish was just ok and I suspect the fries were preheated in the microwave as they were very hard. Not worth $25.00. The manager paused by our table, a practiced smile on her face as she asked about our meal. Her eyes, however, were already scanning the room, clearly unconcerned with my mumble "It's fine thanks." It was just part of her job, a superficial interaction without a hint of true interest. As I was paying, I mentioned to the waitress about my disappointment. She said she would let the cook know. Just an automatic reply. If you want to pay a high price and have inadequate food and service, it's the...
