Skyway Cafe Tillsonburg — Restaurant in South-West Oxford

Food is ok, I mean it's pretty standard breakfast. Facility is ok, looks like a house converted to restaurant on top floor. Pricing is over the top, as if you were at Pearson Airport in Toronto. If you're getting regular breakfast, toast, bacon, few potatoe hashbrowns, and choose 3 eggs and coffee, you'll be paying close to $40 before any tips. Last time no one came around to add more coffee so single small cup had to do. Spending $40 is not the issue as long as you feel you're getting value, but we've been there few times now when we're flying into the area and each time we have left feeling like we didn't...

We got there for noon on a Sunday. The place was fairly busy when we arrived. Now, I have been to this establishment a few times before with the family. It has never usually taken more than 15 minutes to receive our meals after ordering. On this day however, we waited an hour and twenty minutes. Also we were missing sides that we had ordered. They gave 2 of us coupons for a free entre on our next visit but sadly, I think that is the last time...

After moving to Tillsonburg, my wife and I saw recommendations for the Skyway Cafe and knew we had to go, mainly because I'm, a plane-nerd and we're both fans of simple cheap breakfast foods.

We had our first Tillsonburg meal there on a rainy Sunday morning in town, and it was fantastic. $40 to feed us both to the brim, and was complimented by a friendly atmosphere and a stellar view of the airstrip.
