Charming Cafe and bakery in the heart of the village. Local owned and operated. Owners work incredibly hard to provide the community and visitors with an exceptional selection of food, treats, and quality coffee at fair and honest prices. Great place to people watch and view of the bay. Large covered patio and ample seating inside. BYOM if you prefer.

Lovely little bakery in town! We tried the mushroom pizza, which had a nice sweetness from the caramelized onions—even my husband, who’s not usually a mushroom fan, enjoyed it. The original cronut was also tasty, though a bit too greasy for my liking. Still, it’s definitely a charming spot worth visiting when you’re on Mayne Island!

I love this place just wish they were open more. I understand due to being a small operation and on the island but I am often their on Sundays and sadly miss out on this place more often then not. Great snack options and love their coffee. Always a highlight

I went here when on vacation with my friends, and we did not like it at all.

They didn't have any gluten free options, which is hard when I cant have gluten. I understand not being able to control cross contamination, but you could at least offer something that doesn't have gluten in it?

The coffee was horrible. I got an oat milk cappuccino, and I know it can br hard to froth alternative milk, but this was just hot milk and espresso.

My friends both got a mocha, and it was made with nesquik.

I think they said the food they got was okay? But I couldn't have anything because of their lack of dietary choices.

Maybe their proper food (not just snacks), and drip coffee is better than there...

Got there at 1:50pm as they close at 2pm. They were serving ice cream to a family of five. I waited patiently, then suddenly approached by a young woman who asked if we were all together. Once she realized I was alone while serving the family she said “sorry we’re closed, we’re just serving this family, you can always come back tomorrow. I have operated a successful bistro cafe. Never would I have the balls to refuse a customer wanting a simple ice cream serving that takes a couple of minutes before actual closing time. No sorry , won’t be...

Absolute gem of a bakery. Each item we had, from the scones, muffins, pretzels, sandwiches, brownies, blondies AND danishes (YES, we are big eaters) - the ladies at the bakery are top-notch.

Only qualm is the bizarre COVID policy which states to wait outside if you don't feel safe. I feel safe, and so I attempted to walk inside and a very crotchety old man got aggressive with me and the staff did not intervene at all to support me.

Otherwise, a great experience! Beware the crotchety masked old man and...
