Dave's Wardsville Cafe — Restaurant in Southwest Middlesex

Very friendly is the only nice thing I can, I went in expecting a little greasy spoon and it was a step down, I ordered a burger with fries and gravey while the fresh cut fries were great the gravey was tasteless and I dont know why but the burger had a funny taste, it almost tasted like how the place smelled musty old building, I think what turned me off the most was it was filthy, dont get me wrong I normally love little town restaurants, I felt iwas a bit pricey for what it was. I talked to a couple behind me from Missouri and she had the soup and said it was great and if the smell was anything to go by then she was right , it smelled heavenly if you ignored the other smells. One last thing the grill itself was very clean. I really wish I would have waited about 20 minutes and stopped at Parks Blueberries...

It was an unexpected stop here! After gassing up our bikes in Thamesville, I mentioned to my partner to keep an eye open for a “small town cafe.” He abruptly pulled over when he saw Dave’s Cafe. What a delight. We love supporting local businesses. Our meals were delicious and the hospitality so friendly and down home like. Thank you very much.
