2 butter chicken, 1 Beef Vindaloo, 1 Lamb-Roganjosh and 3 orders of Garlic Naan for $134. Barely fed 4 adults and a teen boy. The rice that came with it were packaged in these tiny, Styrofoam glasses. The main dishes came in containers that are only 5.5 inches in diameter and about 1.25 inches deep of food! $21 for a Butter chicken, and $25 for the beef or lamb. Way overpriced for 'good' tasting food, but far from 'amazing'! Locals were spoiled when Nick was the owner. We miss you Nick! Response to the owner. I'm pretty sure the receipt is in the trash, however I'm sure you can look it up. I ordered at 4:14pm on October 30th, 2021. The amount was $134 and some change. Yesterday, my spouse called to voice our dissatisfaction and apparently you stated that all prices have gone up and you needed to increase your prices and reduce the container sizes to stay profitable. I get it. Of course you can charge what you want and justify it in any way you want, but don't expect this will go unnoticed by customers. I was really surprise at the size of the containers, because the last two times we've ordered with our neighbour, who I think you know and is a very close friend to the original owner Nick, the portions were outstanding. These containers literally look half the size of what we received before.

I've wanted to try this place for so long, I love Indian food. I used to eat it when I lived in GTA often, even driving to brampton just to get an awesome samosas. Although most of the flavors were really good, it's not worth the price here, sorry. 23-30$ per dish, and we got maybe 5 or 6 cubes of chicken/meat in each dish, cubes not much bigger than chicken cubes found on a pizza. It was all sauce. I love sauce, so hence the star... But it was so disappointing. My husband was livid, so we definitely won't return, even to try the brunch or specials... We don't mind paying $$ or $$$, but it has to have value. Also, I specifically said no spice since we had children in our group, but I guess it got lost in translation in the kitchen bc some of the dishes were way too spicy for a kid. They all had to stick to the naan, which didn't seem like regular naan, and butter chicken (sauce lol) The service was nice and she was really friendly on the phone, so the tip was basically for her. Why is Indian food so expensive in Middlesex? Oh, well.

A very pleasant surprise in Talbotville. After driving by so many times we thought we would give it a try. It was excellent. Definitely on the agenda to try more dishes on a return visit. I'm literally regretting not stopping by sooner. Do yourself (and tastebuds) a favour and try their Indian food. Comparable to the good stuff you'll find in the GTA. Gracious host and service. Cozy atmosphere, although a little bit bright, could have the lights slightly dimmer in the dining hall to make the dining experience a bit more intimate.

I am a real person. A real mom disabled that went to eat at your restaurant. What does it matter how many other reviews I have written??I only write reviews when I feel VERY strongly about something. And yes I have eaten out a lot. I am as credible as the next person who has been to your restaurant. And wow...I cannot believe the tone you chose to take in responding to me. I do not need to be validated.....I know what I experienced.....and I know good food . My hunch is the you put a lot of emphasis on your buffet and not the other items. I assure you I mean you no disrespect.....however it is my prerogative to write about my experience. I can understand that it would be natural for you to agree with those who agree with you and be unfriendly to those who don't agree with you....Sorry if I have upset you, but it is not necessary for you to try to upset me in return. It is bad enough that our meal time was a fracas. This is perhaps why people are afraid of writing reviews.

Well.... We went there on Sunday at around five o'clock or five thirty. The service was good, not great . Our food took very long . When the two children wanted their drinks.....they came when the meal was nearly done. I would expect the food to be at par to like a cracker barrel or stone crock.., michigan diner .... a place similar....but unfortunately , it was Not. We had a quesadilla, spaghetti with meat sauce, fish with french fries, and french onion soup with garlic bread. Perhaps we had the wrong food.....or not what they are known for,,,,,for our food was not very good. You can say what ever you will , but we eat out quite a bit and....I don"t get it....people deserve better. The salsa was not edible. The piece of dead lettuce was horrendous....and the quesadilla had so little chicken that I could not taste it. We will not return. I would urge people to save their money. Unless the restaurant gets frequented by people who are not expecting quality...(please I do not mean to offend) Or perhaps the good reviews are being written by fake people. I am trying to understand why people would continue to eat there. Furthermore......the decor was simply awful. i felt like I was in a nursing home dining room....It was from the nineties....and it did not give me confidence that it was a very clean establishment....like how long have those (fabric seat ) chairs been around? It was so outdated. Sorry....I was just extremely...

This is a tough review to make, we went in with 12 people for a reservation and were sat, and given water all around right away. It appeared that no one else was in the restaurant at the time of our arrival, and if so, maybe only a couple people in another area because to us there was none, and it was noticed and stated by many of us.

There were so many options on the menu as they have two FULL menus, an Indian one and a 'Canadian' one. We had an array of ages, including a 3 year old, and orders were taken pretty quickly. Drinks were delivered quickly, and as we were waiting on food water was replenished in a timely manner.

So food begins to come out, all the fish and chips came out at once (maybe 5), then maybe 10 minutes later another dish or two, then 10 minutes later another dish or two, literally everyone was long done eating by the time my 3 year old and I got our meals, I didn't time it, but I'd say it was at least a 30 minute spread to get all the food to the table, with two orders of the same food being delivered about 25 minutes apart.

No one said sorry, no one thought to bring the 3 year old his food first, no one attempted to inform us what was going on, just treated us like 4-5 tables of people with the way the food was prepared.

They did bring my 3 year old fries when I asked them, but by the time they did, and the 10 minutes later his pizza coming out, he had already picked fries off the first round of food.

They were nice to bring back and replace a dish we didn't agree on, but that had taken at least 10 minutes after the first dish to come out, and it still wasn't what was stated on the menu to be, or what we reminded them it should have been before they took the first one back.

I was able to taste the majority of the food that came out, and it was absolutely delicious.

I recommend maybe making the menu smaller, or at least apologize or prepare better for a reservation which had been placed for quite some time in advance.

Tough review to write because food was overall truly delicious (or maybe I was just so hungry), but service out of the kitchen was so awful. I can't say I won't be back, because I like good food, but I definitely wouldn't ever recommend for a large group for any special occasion.

Someone else in our party was there a few months back for an event, also a larger group, they confirmed it was the same exact service from the kitchen then as...

Can’t believe the reviews are accurate as the selection for a buffet at $19 not including a dessert bar was terrible. When first walking in the restaurant the s quite lovely and the staff and manager were super nice however we were VERY disappointed as waited years to finally try this place. One vegetable choice on the hot buffet (carrots) my husband almost choked on bones in their fish. I thought the salad bar would redeem our disappointment but it was the worst part. You could clearly tell they were using up old food from previous days or lunch as it wasn’t your normal salad bar everything was warm not crisp and not fresh no real fresh vegetables accept the lettuce no labels on the salad dressings accept a couple which were miss labelled, warm cheese and warm pickled items and everything else seem dried out that shouldn’t be. Anything else that was mixed as a salad like broccoli salad was so gross overloaded in slimy mayo and warm. Anything else on the salad buffet was slimy (tomato and cucumber in a liquid that made the vegtables slimy not fresh like you hope for in a salad bar, so gross! Me and my husband aren’t picky eaters at all but we hated it and clearly it wasn’t fresh. It was disappointing to pay the bill at the end knowing other places that charge almost the same but with way better selection and quality. The chicken had hardly any meat on it. I will say their roast beef and gravy was ok but separate from that the Mandarin is where we will keep going not only due to selection but freshness. I could have felt somewhat satisfied if the salad bar had been different but it wasn’t. Usually dessert is included in other buffets here it isn’t accept days they charge more. So not worth the money. It’s to bad because it would be so easy for them to fix their buffet and draw in more customers but it was obvious they try to cut corners and in the end it’s about the money not the service. We wanted to try their breakfast buffet but if it’s anyhibg like their dinner buffet we won’t be back! Sad as they were so friendly and such a pretty building. The hanging plants looked fresher then the salad bar we were tempted...
