Great pit stop! We had some seriously good poutine with authentic cheese curds. Plenty of cheese on top and more layered in. We also had fries and deep fried pickles. They gave us plenty of the condiments we wanted, and we found a nice picnic table in the shade under a tree. We saw many picnic tables and a small play area for children. The washrooms were clean and easy to access. Much better than what we’d expect to find at a gas station stop. We didn’t have ice cream, but what we saw other people getting looked good. We only drive past this way once a year, but we’d definitely stop again for a snack and driving break.

🌟 5-Star Review for Lucky Snack Bar 🌟 Stopped by Lucky Snack Bar during our road trip back to Toronto from Banff, and it was an absolute gem! We ordered the fried pickles and some ice cream — both were delicious and hit the spot after a long drive. What made the stop even more memorable was the amazing service. The young girl working there with a star sticker on her face was incredibly polite, helpful, and genuinely friendly. Her customer service was top-notch — if I could give her 10 stars, I would! 👏🍦 Highly recommend this place for a quick, tasty bite and warm, welcoming service!

Hands down the best poutine I've ever had - the fries were golden and perfectly crispy without any of them being over cooked; the gravy also had an attractive golden colour, tasty without being overly salty; there was a generous amount of squeaky cheese curds not only on top but well mixed in throughout. The only down side is how far it is from home - although, on second thought, that's good for my waistline.

Had this place recommended to me by a friend who loved going there as a child. It definitely has the look of a classic roadside snack joint, almost has a seaside vibe. The staff person who took my order was friendly, but the food pickup experience was unpleasant… having a dedicated pickup counter and a perhaps a microphone&speaker to call when one’s order is ready would make it way better. And the food— we had regular poutine, 1pc haddock fish&chips, and a couple of cans of pop: $40 once taxes and tip were added in. This is more expensive than average. I also wouldn’t consider it good value, because the gravy— while tasty— is a translucent gelatinous greenish-yellow, the fries with the fish were almost certainly reheated, and the fish itself was one of those squared-off portions that looks like it came from a supermarket freezer. If you’re stopping for a decently-priced, generously portioned ice cream on a sunny day, you can’t go wrong. If you’re looking for a reasonable-value lunch… I...

Was really disappointed in the service. Ordered shrimp dinner and when I picked it up there was no shrimp sauce.. server said they would give me a refund for the shrimp because she agreed that it’s not the same without the sauce and I told her I would not have ordered it had I known. So I ate the dinner and fries were good but shrimp was not the same without sauce. Went to get refund for shrimp and server says she saw me eat the shrimp so no refund. I did not eat all the shrimp because not the same and if I would have known they wanted the shrimp back I would not have eaten them but I was hungry and fries were not enough.when you nickel and dime at the customers expense.. not good. A good place would’ve honoured their error and not made it the customer fault....

What a surprise! We stop at Lucky's snack bar because our little ones were hungry and needed to stretch their legs out after a long ride in the car. Then we ordered a poutine and a few hotdogs. I was really surprised how good the poutine is there. It is not simply good, it is really tasty and I really liked their choice of gravy and cheese curds. This says a lot considering that I am from a region that is consider to produce the best cheese curds in Quebec. Moreover, the lady working the window was really fun to talk to and the food arrived fast. I will certainly stop there again if we drive back through...
