Big Ben's Ltd — Restaurant in St. John's

We really wanted to like this pub. Tried it twice times. First time there was an aggressive barking dog that wasn't silenced; didn't know it was a dog-friendly space. The second time there was a fussy baby at the bar; again, just an odd situation for a pub that other reviewers say has a cozy atmosphere. The draft prices are super high (and the glasses seem small), the music is too low so any conversation at the bar is heard in the whole space. Nothing engaging, nothing to draw...

Average service and severely understocked. Bar lacked loads of the usual liquors. Atmosphere is pretty depressing. Came to celebrate a friend's birthday because the Breezeway was closed. Was pretty surprised to find regular shots priced at almost $30 for 4. Wouldn't come again unless I absolutely have...

The place is alright. Nothing really memorable from my experience here and the prices are somewhat expensive. I also really disliked how they dont play music, what bar/pub doesnt have...
