It was very busy. The people next to us were in their teens to early 20s and they were throwing cake around. It must have been someone's birthday I take it. My friend didn't like it so we had to move to another place. The server we had was good and the food was decent but just ok. It was kinda expensive for what we had as everything seems to be these days. One thing we had was beef nachos. The meat was very skimpy and usually it used to be seasoned very nicely to the point where it was very moist and almost like a thick sauce was added to it which was nice but this time it was scraps of unseasond beef. It was very plain. We had a small pizza it was hot and ok but it was really just nothing special. It was pretty expensive for the few scraps we got. Could have gotten 2 12 inch subs for $20 that would have been way more food and more satisfying. I find Boston pizza is kinda expensive and not that great in general. I won't be going back anytime soon unless prices drop. I'll just go to Swiss chalet or something. Ppl can't afford to be spending all this...
Read moreGo to Kelsey drive for fast service, better attitude and better food. I've had nothing but bad experiences at this location. My husband and I went there one evening for a meal, and were the only customers in the dining room. We waited 45 minutes for a waitress to come ask us how things were so we could get our bill and leave. She was in the back talking and playing around with the other staff. Finally we put down our money on the table and started to walk out. Sure enough she came running out to make sure we had paid!! Unbelievable. Another time my mother and I ordered a salad and it came out with black, moldy lettuce. The staff hadn't checked over the produce before making the salad. I've also waited over an hour for take out food here. Once I took a friend there for his birthday. When they found out it was his birthday they decided to bring out a dessert for him without asking. I thought how nice until i got to the cash- they had charged it to the bill! At least ask! I will always go to Kelsey...
Read moreOut of the two Boston Pizza establishments in the city, this location has the edge over the Kelsey Drive restaurant. There is typically plenty of room and no wait for a seat, while the service itself is very good and fast.
What I appreciate about this Boston Pizza is the availability for seating during a Saturday night game of hockey, especially if the Habs or Leafs are playing. You can always call ahead and make a reservation, but generally, you don't need to worry about that. It makes for a fun night out with some friends if you want to catch a game and eat some good food.
Their pickle bites, cactus chips, and bandera bread are all great options to share while kicking back and chatting it up or watching some hockey. They now have the mobile kiosk at their tables as well, so you can browse and order without having to flag someone down (if service is taking longer than...
