Burritos Mexican Grill — Restaurant in St. John's

Went here for the past 2 years, I go to Beaconsfield Junior High, this used to be my go to spot to skip the line up at the Tim Hortons crowd at the Village Mall food court and less people here as it is a bit further down the road to walk to, staff are friendly and nice, food was always consistently great and the prices were competitive but was a bit frustrated that the lunch combo was upped from $5.99 to $8.99, still a good price for today’s standards as everything is going up in price here in Canada along with extra tax and money printing. They also increased all their prices for their Poutines as well which were also my go to, all of them increased by about $1-2, I liked this place because it was cheap but now the prices are getting higher, it is still fairly competitive in comparison to Subway but not as different anymore, and since I am a broke Junior High student, I can’t really go out for lunch as often as I used to because of these changes, but then again everything is inflating, and wages need to be kept up to standards for employees, rent, etc. and the list just goes on and on, I still go here though more often than other places when I do go out as their prices are still slightly cheaper than other places but not by much anymore (only about $1-2 price difference in the $8.99 lunch combo in comparison to the $4-5 price difference in the $5.99 lunch combo like it used to be in comparison to the average prices) I’ll still go here sometimes but not as often to support local business though, but eating out is getting less and less affordable, and it would be nice if they could have a...

Ordered veg nachos. Your choice of toppings. There were a variety of appealing toppings to choose from such as beans, flavorful rice, cilantro, banana peppers and more. You have the option of adding sauce. I chose to have standard sourcream and salsa on the side. Service was excellent--patient, friendly and asked if the amount of cheese on top was enough. When given my order, holes were poked in the lid of my nacho container so they wouldn't sweat and the sour cream and salsa weren't put in the container they were put in the bag separately which was great because that makes the sour cream warm when placed in the container. The nachos were really good, flavorful and the spices I chose were not too spicy so it didn't overpower the flavor. Everything about the nachos were great. The only reason I'm giving them a 4 star vs 5 is because compared to another restaurant I get nachos from, they're not as good.
