The Fisherman's Brewus that they served in the restaurant portion of this friendly local convenience store may have been the best food I ate on my trip to St. John's, a culinary journey including The Gypsy Tea House, Adelaide Oyster Bar and The Bagel Cafe.
That's not to say that the meals I had at each of the aforementioned places weren't incredible, but it goes to show that a home cooked meal made with heart sometimes just can't be beaten.
My companion also remarked that the Jiggs dinner he had tasted just like the kind his grandmother used to make.

I have a per diem and can eat out all day long if I want, but prefer here regardless of cost. St. Johns has a lot of crappy waitresses tbh and here is friendly and decent.
