I would not recommend this place. I was treated very poorly by the waitress. She was extremely rude and completely unwelcoming. I wish I had gotten her name but she seemed to be one of the head waitresses or a manager. I was turned off from the place the second I walked through the door. If you want a nice, warm, welcoming environment while dining I definitely do NOT recommend this place. I would however recommend Bagle cafe (just down the road) or Zacharys (literally right next to this place) they are both wonderful, cozy, and welcoming. This place almost ruined mine and my sweet little brothers day but bagle cafe saved the day and made us feel like they actually wanted our business and for us to eat there, unlike this place. I didn't even get to try the food because the customer service was so poor that it made me never want to go there. Not to worry, though! As Bagel Cafes food is absolutely delicious and so is Zacharys! Would not...

We arrived here for brunch late Sunday morning and there was quite a line to get a table. This is standard for a good breakfast place and our party of 6 had no issue waiting. We waited about 45 minutes and made it to the front of the line, where the server told us she couldn’t guarantee us a table, even though there was an empty table of 4 and a table of 4 that was just getting up to pay their bill. I told her it was no problem and that we could split and just sit 3 and 3. She told us again we’d have to wait even though we were next, told us the kitchen was behind by an hour and told us to go and sit down in the porch area and wait more despite being next in line. The food was typical breakfast food, good enough but nothing to...

Amazing breakfast! Go early before the rush. It’s worth the wait if you don’t get there early and there is a line. Stick around anyway!

We ordered coffees, always topped up and hot. Great unlimited coffee!

Service is excellent! Staff all working so hard as a team to keep customers happy.

The Toutons are fantastic! Tried one with molasses and the other with syrup. It was our first time trying Toutons and we loved them very much. Must try!

We also ordered Fish & Brewis, Fish cake, Western omelette and added sausages on the side.

Best breakfast and kept us...

The place was very packed when we arrived and the service was slightly slow. In their defense, there was one waiter and a lot of people were coming and going. I decided to order the classic breakfast and it was quite standard fare. The actual standout thing was the bread. It seems like their bread was either homemade or freshly baked. Having very good pricing, local specialities, good bread, and bring nearby to the Hilton Hotel make this place a great spot to just get some quick brunch. Recommended

Had breakfast while staying in the area, a nice spot that opens at 8 am. Friendly service with frequent top ups of coffee. Had to try their Fish & Brewis, a traditional Newfoundland dish. Also had their Western Omelette. Tasty food! I've never had hard tack or scrunchions before, so it was a culinary experience. Thankfully, the fresh fruit side balanced out the greasiness of the fried food and salted cod. A nice morning meal to end off our travels in the city.
