Desi Meal Restaurant — Restaurant in St. John's

I Was so excited to try this place but unfortunately it was such a let down. The samosa had no flavour and seemed to be 99% potato & the butter chicken was laughable there was no chicken in it no more then 5 small pieces and the sauce WHERES THE SPICE??? I swear it tastes just like Campbell's tomato soup I wouldn't be surprised if they used it as there base for the sauce it was disgusting and their naan was pre made and dont get me started on their cans of drinks the top of it was full of dirt like why? I will say that they were very kind people& the service was great but unfortunately I will not be going back there and defiantly will not recommend. If you're looking for good Indian style food go to India gate I promise you will not be disappointed it might be a little more expensive then this place but everything is made in house even the naan and it's to die for you won't be...

Butter chicken so bad i think it's from some ready to eat packet (Very small portion also) Nan i think from cosco Some asian food itams available but price high more than dominion . Make sure your food tast and quality better than others This is my first takeaway but i am not try anymore, I hope i can find good taste Indian food but no use , So sorry Good atmosphere...friendly staff, good parking everything u have but no good food... please make sure your food quality and quantity 🙏

Friendly staff and very clean restuarant. Unfortunately it's the worst Indian food I've had. I had the buffet and ordered 4 samosas on the side for our table. The rice was cold, the naan didn't taste fresh, the tandoori chicken was dry and not much flavor. The veggie samosas I had were fresh and hot but were not very good. Price was expensive for what we had . I can see it being fair if you eat more than one plate.

In my opinion there are way better Indian places in st. John's. But you never know unless you try.
