Donati's Pizza — Restaurant in St. John's

Donnini's was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere had a sleek modern feel and look. The previous restaurant pales in comparison to the innovative interior design and architecture. Enough about the incredible lobby sector. It's time to talk about the exquisite menu delicacies. My fellow food critic and I both ordered the simply delicious and innovative pepperoni stuffed bacon and bacon bit pizza. We were at a loss for words as soon as our tingling taste buds came into contact with our scrumptious meal, we both had intense reactions. One of the greatest strengths of Donnini's amazing pizza slice was it's immense size, mass, and density. There was so much food we were struggling to jam down the pizza down our esophagi. The singular and only compliant we had was with the immense selection of canned beverages. You might be wondering, isn't a large quantity of different beverages a positive aspect of a high end establishment like Donnini's, but it certainly wasn't. Once again, the age old lesson of quality over quantity is being learnt by the customers. What this establishment's customers are hungering for is a selection of beverages in the form of an electronic soda fountain, or any soda fountain for that matter. Very inconsistent quantity and poor staffing. I ordered 2 donair subs with 4 toppings last week which was really filling and good quantity for the price.

Today when I called them for the same order, they told me that I can only get 2 topping and for 4 topping I had to pay extra. Also when I got the donair sub today, it was no where near the quantity of the one I had last week. If I knew I would get this quantity, I would have never ordered from them. Later I had to get more food from somewhere else as the food was not filling. When asked the guy working there about it he was confused and did not give me a reasonable explanation about it. Very disappointed by the quantity and service today. Hope you guys would look into the matter and resolve it, so everyone can have a good experience...

Went there the other day with a friend for lunch. The owners were there working, making fresh pizza and chatting with the customers as they came and picked up their food. I have to say THIS WAS THE BEST PIZZA I HAVE HAD IN YEARS!!! This town is overrun with pizza places that claim to have the best price, speed, ..... Local pizza place run by local people who have been in the business for years. Hand made pies, made by the owner, with care and attention to detail....you don't get that at other places. I will be back, more importantly, YOU SHOULD GO THERE!!!
