This place has such good vibes and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff here are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. They have a fine selection of coffee beans available for purchase, so if you’re a coffee lover, it's easy to find something unique to take home. I ordered a medium latte and paired it with a slice of banana bread—both were delicious and hit the spot perfectly! It’s a great place to sit back, relax, and either do some work or get lost in a good book. The music adds to the chill ambiance without being too loud, so it’s easy to focus. The vibe, the coffee, the music, the service—everything here is thoughtfully curated to make every visit enjoyable. Whether you're here to work, unwind, or just grab a fantastic cup of coffee, this place really has it all!

The expansive seating options, both indoors and outdoors, provide the perfect setting. What sets this cafe apart is the view of the ocean, where one can witness the movements of passing ships. It's a place where you can find solace in work, focus on study, or simply unwind while sipping their delightful beverages. The indoor and outdoor spaces cater to a range of preferences, making it an ideal spot for both quiet contemplation and vibrant conversations. Whether you're here for the view, the peaceful work environment, or simply a cup of brewed coffee, Jumping Bean Cafe doesn't disappoint. It's a hidden gem that beckons you to return again.

I Used to come here often to study. They used to have great service and decent coffee to keep you awake while reading boring heavy content. However, started this semester amd came back to find very rude customer service, oh those are only for customers, only customers can use the bathroom etc... Last I checked I was a regular last winter semester and I JUST BOUGHT a fudging coffee and soup and I can't release the pressure and be comfortable while studying and eat something. Excuse me but I don't know what kinda business your running, i could not even stay after that and did not get the coffee or soup i BOUGHT because i was soo stunned! The guy that served me was makeing it in the back counter while i walked, because of her i will never come back.I have never left somewhere feeling that way in my life, the dirty sinking feeling in my stomach absolutely rotted everything. Absolutely disgusting! Last I checked spending money somewhere means your a customer. After this I will never come...

This review is not based on products offered by jumping bean. It is based on how management at two locations in downtown St John's (Atlantic place and TD) have been conducting themselves.

There are a number of specific issues that could be voiced but long story short is that management doesn't have it's staff's or even It's customer's best interests at heart. From what I've seen and what has been relayed to me there has been very poor treatment of staff and some egregious overstepping that boarders on harassment. This is doubly disappointing coming from a locally owned business.

I hope that anyone reading this has a wildly different experience and yet I would ask any potential and returning customers to consider the kind of behaviour they may be supporting by...
