This is my first time leaving a bad review for any business. But I am very frustrated with this location over the years' worth of experiences I've had. The staff is always friendly, but the wait times and drinks are always a letdown. I used to stop by for a coffee when i was in the mood for a morning treat, but quickly learned I could only do this if a) I left the house significantly earlier, and b) there was no one else in the drive thru line. If both conditions were met, I would stop and still be on time for work. But if there was one or more cars ahead of me, I would always be late. So I had to stop going here in the mornings after a few months. If the drive thru times were my only complaint, I wouldn't be writing this review. I order the same thing the majority of the time I go, just a Chai mocha right off the menu, no additions or modifications. Unfortunately, it never tastes the same, different ratios of milk to water, different strength of chai, or different consistency of the foam. Today, I got this same drink, and when I got to the window, the very friendly man asked if I wanted the teabag or the latte? I told him I wanted the Chai mocha off the menu, and he said they have two types of Chai? I know starbucks makes their Chai lattes with a Chai syrup, but jumping bean uses the traditional tea bags. So I told him it normally has a tea bag in it and the chocolate syrup. So now I am looking at my drink.... a Chai tea with chocolate syrup, no steamed milk... this may be my new favourite, "Jumping Bean, how did this even happen?" moment. It has taken the crown from when i came here and ordered an iced latte, the young man passed me my drink and said "carefull with the lid, it doesnt actually fit the cup", needless to say I was not carefull enough because I wore that iced latte on my shirt for the rest of the day... Each time I try this location again, I am reminded why I drive the extra distance and go to...
Read moreMy favorite coffee house! The coffee and food are great and the staff are friendly and professional. Definitely worth a visit!
Still my favorite coffee, but, unfortunately, not my favorite location! The Kelsey Dr. location I'm referring to. As before, the staff are friendly and helpful, the coffee is awesome, but, the place is not clean! I was going to take pictures of the overflowing garbage bin in the bathroom, the sticky residue on the table and the dust and grime literally everywhere else; but I don't want to deter anyone from coming here. To the owners; please pay attention to the cleanliness of your business. I love your cafes, and I rarely complain, but I think it's necessary, as I hope it will spur you to action before myself and my family / friends find a tidier location to go.
May 24/25. Another visit to the Kelsey Drive location, and another disappointment. Staff were top notch! The coffee and tea were good but my wife had a croissant that was definitely old; stale old! The premium we pay for the small café experience should, at the very least, match the quality of the big chain coffee places. Please tighten your quality control as people absolutely do notice these things. Still worth a visit. Again, this commentary has zero reflection on the Elizabeth...
Read moreI really like Jumping Bean, they have most definitely won me over!
The food here is really good. I've had many different sandwiches, pastries, bagels, and cookies, and let me tell you... they're all DELICIOUS. I don't know how they do it, but they do.
The coffee here tastes great and they have a wonderful selection of brews. The other drinks are great too!
The atmosphere here is what keeps me coming back just as much as the great food+drinks. It's so relaxing and welcoming here. It's bright inside with natural light, it's open, yet cozy. I love coming here to do my work and just relax.
PS the picture I've added to this review is a beautiful sunset I saw when leaving one day. It was so beautiful that it moved me to tears, so I had no other choice but to show...
