Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters — Restaurant in St. John's

Ordered through drive thru at this location today around 4-4:30pm. When I was greeted at the speaker, I could barley hear the man speaking. He did not speak good English and spoke very fast to a point i didn't even understand what he was saying. I drove to the window, the young man (not sure if it was the same person) seemed like he was ready for a nap. Before I payed for my order, I asked politely if it was to late to order a strawberry cheese cake pie as well, he replied "I don't know", literally rolled his eyes at me and shut the window. A few minutes later he came back and handed me the debit machine to pay, he looked like he was very annoyed with me. Once I finished paying, he shut the window again until my food was ready. He handed me the bag, I said "thank you, have a good night", he completely ignored my comment, no your welcome, nothing. He just shut the window. We had a wonderful dining experience at Mary Brown’s on Freshwater Street. From the moment we walked in, our cashier, Mark, greeted us with a warm welcome and made us feel right at home. He was incredibly kind and patient while taking our order, ensuring everything was just right.

The service was impressively fast, and our food was served much quicker than expected. Everything was fresh, delicious, and exceeded our expectations! The only thing we wish we had known earlier was about the loyalty program, as no one had mentioned it to us before despite our frequent visits.

Word to the wise (about any takeout or delivery order for that matter)-Call the food establishment to ensure there is cutlery,napkins,and condiments in the bag with your order.I just had Mary Browns through door dash and while delivery was lightening fast there was not a single napkin,fork,knife,pack of ketchup-nothing.
