Overpriced, flavourless, and not fresh
My husband and I received a 15% off coupon for the monastary from the bed and breakfast we were staying at, so we figured we would give it a try.
Finding the place was quite difficult as there is a lack of signage and many monastary branded buildings. One we found the right spot we went inside and got seated promptly, as there was only one other couple inside. Our waitress was kind and accommodating but the food was simply not great. I ordered the baked cod with a salad. The menu claimed the cod was "perfectly cooked" but it was quite evident that it was previously frozen and poorly reheated as it was rubbery and flavourless. We also ordered a side of fries which they offered to put cheese on, to which we said sure. When they came out they were luke warm and the cheese was rubbery.
Overall, not a great dining experience considering we paid nearly $100 for a less than alright meal.
