Mustang Sally's Flaming Skillet — Restaurant in St. John's

Normally, this place is amazing. The last two times we had pancakes... I mean... burritos, they definitely weren't cooked in a flaming skillet, and the recently added employee doesn't know how to wrap them.Too delicate, needs to be more aggressive so they don't fall apart! Disappointment the first time he made them, thought it would be better when he learned the second time around, nope. Same only colder. What a mess. Not enjoyable to eat, at all. The other workers are awesome, but we won't be back for a while. Too bad because we love this place but it's not worth the cash at the moment.

Been back a few times since I wrote this review. Haven't seen that guy in a while. The regular guys are awesome and food has been great. Service has been perfect! Back to normal and this place deserves better than my original 1 star review, because of one bad employee....

This is a higher quality (and slightly more expensive) alternative to Subway. They might not appreciate that characterization, but that's how I see it. I really like their food, and it's my go-to for a quick meal downtown. They also serve beer on tap, for some reason.

I'm really not sure how to classify this place. It's a little confusing. It's almost like fast food, almost like a sit-down restaurant, almost like a bar, but not really any of those things. That's not a criticism, necessarily, just an observation. But it does feel like it's half finished. The menu has also been a bit convoluted in the past. I think it's different now, but I usually just order the same thing every time so I can't say for sure.

Either way, the staff is always nice. They'll guide you along. This is a really good...

We hired Mustang Sally’s to cater our wedding and it was fantastic! They offered many food options even including things that don’t appear on their regular menu. And accommodating dietary restrictions was very easy with them. We got tacos and sliders, and they were so good that the wedding guests were constantly complimenting the food for the rest of the night, saying how good it all was.

The owners offered full service where they would serve everyone their food, but we requested for the food to be dropped off at the wedding venue, and they were super down to do it that way too.

They accommodated 100 guests for us, and were very budget friendly. I highly recommend this choice...
