I recently had dinner at North 48, and while the restaurant's beautiful layout and modern design left a great first impression, the service I received was disappointing. The atmosphere was sleek and stylish, creating an inviting space that made me eager to try the menu. I ordered the Tuscan chicken, which was absolutely amazing—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The quality of the food certainly lived up to the restaurant’s reputation. Unfortunately, the service did not. Although the restaurant closes at 10 PM (referring to the kitchen, not the building), my experience took a downturn around 9:30 PM. My server, Emily, who I was later informed was the manager that night, approached me to let me know that the bar was doing a last call. I was fine with that and ordered another drink. However, just two minutes later, she returned with the bill and insisted that I pay because she wanted to close out on cash or something similar. This made me feel rushed, despite having about 30 minutes left before closing time. To make matters worse, she never asked if I needed anything else, nor did she offer a dessert menu. As someone who works in the industry, I understand the need to wrap up for the night, but chasing out customers who still have unfinished food or drink is simply unacceptable. Overall, while the food and ambiance at North 48 are top-notch, the service I received from Emily was far from it. For someone who was managing that night, her approach was unprofessional and left a sour taste in an otherwise delicious meal.

I'll start by saying our waiter Gavin was absolutely Fantastic !!! One of the best waiters I've had and I haven't got a simple bad thing to say about him... the food on the other hand was atrocious, it started with my fiancé having her drink served with the bottom of an orange floating in it. A little funny but more so gross. We started with the guacamole and chips which wasn't bad just very very bland. Our mains came out and the young girl who brought them to us spilled my fiancée sweet potatoe fries and dip all over the table. She went to get a new dip but left the one she spilled on the table for me to clean up. My main was a $54 ribeye that was supposed to be cooked medium. As you can see by the pictures god only knows what I was served. It looked and tasted like a cheap steak you'd find frozen in the back of a convenience store. And anyone with a set of eyes can see that it's in no way similar to any ribeye that's being served anywhere... both the chef and the owners should reevaluate their menu if this is whats being served. All in all horrible experience and I feel bad for our amazing waiter to have to see his customers being served this horrendous food

The good: the service was too notch! Our server was very attentive and friendly and got our orders spot on. The okay: the place feels a bit dated as it looks exactly like a former restaurant that occupied the same place; the music was nice though. The not so good: two of the four dishes we had were great! They were both chicken parmigiana. The appetizers were pretty good though the Brie dish was rather sparse for the price....but.....my dish ( the cod fish tacos) wasn't what I expected for the price. I got two very small pieces of battered cod in two partially crunchy flour tortillas. The cod wasn't the freshest and felt a bit overcooked. My daughter had the honey chilli glazed chicken sandwich. The flavor of the chicken was rather bland and the honey seemed like it was an afterthought as there was none on the chicken and the bottom bun was soaking in it! At $227.00 for four people (before gratuity), I did expect better. Great service, mediocre food. I'm giving a rating of 3.5 stars. Maybe worth a visit; judge for yourself. Unsure if I will be visiting again.
