So, I'm celiac. As us celiacs know, every time we eat out, we take a risk. First off, the food was really, really tasty! If you're just on a gluten-free diet because, I would try this gf crust, it's delicious. If you have no problem with gluten, definitely try this place out. If you're a sensitive celiac like me, maybe don't try it. It might have been the staff working the pizza that night, so maybe others won't have the same experience. I'll take responsibility for eating the pizza after watching how they handled it, which pretty much guaranteed cross-contact with wheat flour. (My brain just wanted to believe it would be okay, because other reviewers didn't get sick after eating here.) So, yes, they have the gf dough separate, and bring it out on its own pan.👍 But then it's thrown down into the counter creating a cloud of flour puffing up from the work surface.👎 The cook didn't change his gloves after stretching out regular pizzas, then immediately reached into the bins of topping ingredients.👎 After, it gets placed in the oven, still on its separate pan.👍 But then, they use the same peel for every other pizza to slide it off the safe pan, onto the oven surface. 👎 Then use that same peel to remove it from the oven and put it on a plate. 👎 They had things in place to attempt to make it safe, but execution was a big fail. It might have been just the employees making the pizza that night, or maybe no one there cares. I'm not sure, as I never went back. By the time the server was bringing the bill, I felt queasy and had to run upstairs to the bathroom. Luckily, I think I got most of it out of my stomach and was only sick for a day, instead of the usual 9 days. 👍

A place truly deserving of 5 Stars. I had the pleasure of eating at Piatto Pizzeria. When we first took our seats the staff kindly asked for our drinks right away and got us some waters immediately. We looked over the menu and placed our order. Shortly after our arancini arrived (see photo) which were absolutely delicious. After having the arancini I finished my water expecting to then later call over the wait staff for a refill. To my pleasant surprise they filled my glass back up shortly after. A few minutes later and we had our entree. I ordered the Siciliana (see photo) pizza, my significant other ordered the Carbonara di Spinaci (see photo). Both dishes were phenomenal. The pizza, cooked to perfection in the wood fire oven. The sauce had a beautiful balance of natural sweetness and tang. Cheese and toppings tasted fresh. Finally to tie it all together was the dough. The pasta was even more impressive with its great combination of flavors. Now the food was amazing, but the most impressive thing about Piatto was the wait staff. They filled our waters right away, got new cutlery when they took away our fork from the appetizer (typically staff forgets), and to top it all off the table across from us was trying to take a group photo at the table and the waitress asked if they would like her to take the photo of the group so everyone could be in it. Truly an amazing place, I look forward to eating here again

I'm honestly so shocked at the postive reviews for this place because I had the worst dinner experience here this evening. I never write negative reviews, so for me to sit down and write this means it was truly horrendous from start to finish.

When we arrived it was moderately busy, so we waited happily to be seated. The person who "greeted" us barely mumbled for us to follow her to our table so we didn't get off to a great start. We were very hungry after a busy day and so ordered our mains right away. Waited nearly an hour for food that didn't arrive at the same time. During that long wait, we had to ask for water after about 20 minutes and then wait another 15 or so minutes to actually get it.

When our food arrived, there was no apology for the long delay. I ordered pasta and can't describe how disappointing it was. I eat out a lot and have definitely had pasta that's just fine (I'm totally ok with that). The dish I ordered tasted of literally nothing and after a few bites, I had to stop eating because it wasn't cooked correctly. There was no check-in during the meal to see how food was and when my dish was taken away barely eaten, also no check-in from our server.

Truly an awful experience overall. Avoid this place...
