Pizza Delight — Restaurant in St. John's

Don't think Pizza Delught will be around much longer especially with the food they serve. Anyone who reads my reviews knows I don't hold back and give honest reviews. The place was almost barren of customers and the food speaks as to why.

My partner ordered a pizza with the works duo with bbq nachos. They've changed their signature sauce, it is no longer the slightly sweet memorable sauce they always had, it was mostly tasteless. If this were a low end pizza place, it'd be expected, but this was terrible. Her nachos were not eaten at all, the tortillas tasted old and stale.

I ordered the "steak" skillet with a garlic fingers as a side. The garlic fingers were good. The skillet was a waste of $20. There was no steak, there was shaved beef, I suspect the same garbage used for the cheese steak subs. Really thin, rubbery, over cooked, flavorless and all of the vegetables were barely cooked/sautéed, very large dice and none of the dish was seasoned.

If you plan on going to Pizzza Delight for anything other garlic fingers, you either have no sense of taste or want to disappointed. Save your money, get some decent pizza, Donati's is...

Last night, my boyfriend and I visited Pizza Delight around 9 PM. Even though it wasn’t very busy, we had to wait 10–15 minutes just to get drinks. When the Coke finally came, it was flat—no gas at all. We had to ask for it to be filled again.

We ordered Chicken Naan, which we’ve tried before at the Corner Brook location and really enjoyed, but this time it was nowhere near the same quality—very disappointing.

The service was the worst part. While we were still deciding on what to order, the server rushed us and tried to take the menus away too quickly. We were planning to order more items, but after they brought our food, no one came back to check on us. It felt like they just wanted us out as fast as possible—even though the place doesn’t close until 11 PM.

Overall, I wouldn’t even give one star if that were an option. We expected a relaxed and decent dinner, but it turned out to be frustrating and uncomfortable. Definitely not coming back to...

I would like to rename them 'Pizza Suffice'. I had a pizza and the amount of toppings was generous, however whenever they needed to add flavor, they used salt or sugar instead. Disappointed. My wife had a 1/4 chicken and fries, but was served previously cooked, but currently ice cold chicken. When the best you can say about your restaurant meal is that it was almost as good as a supermarket deli, you really have to question your dining choice. Our server was super nice and accommodating of the mistakes made. I can't fault the servers, they don't control the kitchen.
