WARNING: This is NOT an all you can eat place despite it being advertised one. For an "All you can eat place" it had limited options, no desert, and drinks not included. You're paying $15.00 a head for horrible, dry, frozen, overcooked "food".
I came here with my family to enjoy lunch. We had Mongolian grill across multiple cities in Canada so we knew it would suit our entire family's palettes.
We walked in and were greeted by a nice person who seated us right away (not too hard considering there was only one other family there).
The restaurant was poorly kept, stains all over. It felt like I was eating in a penitentiary. I immediately wanted to walk out, but stayed because several people had told my husband that, despite the look, it had great food. Also it had a very high 4.7 rating on Google.
The waitress took our drink order and said that it was all you can eat. She then explained that when we were ready, we just grab plates, pick our ingredients, and the cook will fry it.
The salad bar style display consisted of dry, wilted vegetables(onions, cabbage, purple cabbage, broccoli, celery, bean sprouts, etc); pineapples that looked like it had come from a can stored in a bunker from the cold war; frozen thinly sliced beef, chicken or pork; and the soup of the day - chicken noodle. There were no other options. It struck me as odd that nothing was kept in a cooling tray when it was obviously left out to be used all day.
There was a choice of four sauces: Mongolian, Spicey Mongolian, teriyaki, and honey garlic. The food was fried without the sauce; sauce was served separately in a little bowl. The food was better suited for a dog with no taste buds and the soup looked and tasted like very, very oily canned soup.
I got up to pay the bill which was over $100. This surprised me and I found out that drinks were separate.
This is a joke of a "restaurant". I will never....

The staff are incredibly hospitable and prompt, we were welcomed and seated and our drinks showed up extremely quick. The chef was incredibly friendly and very professional, he made sure everything was fully cooked and properly steamed and handed out the food with a smile.
It's surprising that this place isn't busier than it was, but that makes it great for a quiet family dinner or a casual gathering of friends. Price are fair at around $20 a person with all your portions made fresh to order. I usually go here every year for my birthday and will for many...
Read moreDefinitely a unique experience, very 'do it yourself': you create a plate of vegetables, meat and noodles and then they cook it in front of you on the grill with your choice of sauce. While a different take on eating out, personally I don't think this makes for a great dining experience. Having to get up out of your seat to go and essentially create your own meal. I can see that some people would find this fun though.
There isn't much 'service' required, but the service we did get was pretty poor. As first timers, the whole experience was pretty confusing. There are no menus, or indication of price. Even when we went up to pay the waitress didn't tell us the price of our meal. We had to read it on the card machine and ask her how much the...
