Silver Bowl Ltd — Restaurant in St. John's

I placed a take out order for lunch at this location on Oct 20, 2023. I paid for my order and waited at the front counter for my food to be ready. While waiting for my meal to be prepared I had view of the kitchen area and that's when things went bad. I witnessed a male who was preparing food items in the kitchen LICK the spoon to taste the food and place it directly back in the pot he was preparing the food in!!! I immediately rang the bell for the worker to return to the counter to cancel my order and after a slight argument, process my refund.

My experience was aweful . I orderd rice chicken ball and wonton. The wontons were so bad the oil was crusty and having a bitter taste. When I went to complain to the cashier she was in denial. She said it was perfect there wasn't anything wrong with it. I asked her to taste and she denied it and said the oil was fresh and was non apologetic. I got extra rice insted that was good. But they should do something with the oil or the product. I would love to try food from them again and hope they listen to my complaint and...

The female chinese cashier lady was so rude. She kept shouting. No manners at all!!!!! I would recommend everyone not to go there. Even though there was a staff who was trying to talk to me, she shouted at the poor guy too. The good was nasty. I was looking for vegetarian food. She was about to give me shrimps. She knows nothing about the menus and playing dumb. Got it too quick as if it was microwaved. It was so dry!!! I hope you go out of business , lady! You got to learn some manners on how to...
