Sláinte Whisky & Wine — Restaurant in St. John's

New whiskey and wine bar opened up in a great location downtown St John's. The places decorated beautifully, the atmosphere and lighting is absolutely perfect. There was a gentleman playing a grand piano and singing. This was such a nice edition to an already very classy looking place. Our server was very sweet and she was handling a very large crowd. I don't know how she did it but she kept everything we needed coming and in a timely fashion. She was very friendly and accommodating. Ordered a couple of drinks from the menu, and they were delicious. To finish the evening off I ordered some food, and I was delighted that the quality of the food was amazing. Incredible stuff. We were served by Andrew, who seemed to also be the head bartender? He mentioned that the restaurant had recently transitioned from a small plates menu to mains, and that the cocktail menu was also new. I gotta say, how lucky we were to come at this time! Sláinte is hands-down my favourite spot in town. They serve up fantastic cocktails—especially their smoky whiskey creations, which are always a standout. The staff are incredibly friendly and the service is consistently top-notch. The views overlooking the harbour are unbeatable, and the live music on weekends adds the perfect vibe.
