Every Tim Hortons are same so there is nothing to say about the Tim Hortons specifically. But I’m sorry to say that, there was a supervisor or a manager whose name starts with J, was very rude to an employee for not reheating a pastry.
I didn’t even ask for it because I eat only halal and I prefer foods not to be reheated with other foods that are non-halal and I didn’t want the pastry to be reheated, but she was stubborn and talking back and forth with the employee boy that why he didn’t put that in the microwave. I told her “I gotta catch a bus now” (because my bus arrived at the station at that time which is a minimum 1 min walk from there) but she was still ignoring me and talking with the boy. It took more than a minute to let her calm down.
Then when I saw she was gonna reheat the food anyways, I asked if this can be done in double bags since I do not want cross contamination. Then she started arguing with me. She said “it’s an extra work for her and her employee to do that.”
To do only a double bag - it’s a huge extra work?!??? What the hell!!?? (Then who told you to reheat? I didn’t want it. I will eat a cold pastry and it won’t be an issue for me.)
She dominantly ignored the double bagging. And then I said to her again, “I’m gonna miss my bus if you put that in the microwave and reheat. Give me my food and let me go.”
Then she handled the food to me without reheating.
Then comes another interesting part. I also ordered a cheese tea biscuit. That woman served that with bare hands. No gloves, no parchment paper or no napkins.
I had to throw that biscuit later.
She wasted my huge time and money.
The boy later said sorry when he was handling me the coffee to me but I said “you gotta be careful buddy” (which means your supervisor or manager sucks and you gotta...
Read moreAbsolute garbage! I always wondered why this Tim Hortons has huge line-ups at the door and at the drive-thru and my latest visit explained why - the staff don't know what they are doing. Four different staff members all took different tries at making me a drink - a large, sugar-cookie latte. The first try I didn't notice until I had driven away from the store. It tasted like someone has rinsed a sugar-cookie latte and put that rinsed water into my mug. Essentially, it tasted like brown water with chemical flavouring. So I brought it back and tried again. Same results - a watery, chemical-tinged mess. So I sip it at the cash and ask for a third - which is then dutifully made for me. I sip this one - same result. I posit that the latte machine itself may be the issue - this is the third try with the same result and different people, and at this point I ask for a refund of the $4.80 it cost for the latte. A manager steps in and informs me she knows how to make the latte and even though I want the refund, a fourth is made instead.
It still wasn't right. So I left the store so as not to get angry and calmly called back and informed them I was never buying product from their locale. I also managed to convince fellow staff members to not return to the location, as my story both baffled and horrified them.
This Tim Hortons poorly trains/prepares staff for the rigors of the job and management is indifferent to the functionality of equipment in terms of service quality delivery.

Read moreI usually have a pretty good experience here but today was BEYOND ridiculous.
First, I placed a mobile order of more specific items to give them more time to prep and such. Two bagels toasted, one with butter, one with cream cheese. BOTH were absolutely DRIPPING with butter. I mean absolutely soggy.
Second, I placed an order in person as I had a coupon (2 for 7$ for farmers wrap) and I wanted to use scan and pay for double my points. I had one small request for this one: No egg on either. The person serving me said something along the lines of 'I can't make a note here with the coupon so I'll have to tell the kitchen in person'
okay? I don't mind how you tell them to get the order modified.
I scanned my card and they complete the order and charge my card. I get charged for both of the wraps without the coupon and when I mention it to them I get an insightful response of 'oh. Weird. Sorry.'
So I'm now charged the full price for two when the whole reason I ordered in person was to ensure this coupon worked. It didn't and it's not the apps fault.
I get home and open the orders and as mentioned, the bagels are doused in butter and the farmers wraps are both stuffed with eggs.
Just to let you know; if I had assumed this simple request had been completed and, say, had an allergy to eggs, you could have killed or sent someone into the hospital. Of course, I don't, but when handling someone's food and items you should be taking MORE CAUTION when prepping...
