Topsail Road Pizzeria & Lounge — Restaurant in St. John's

Grew up in the west end and have had pizza here countless times over several decades. Was always amongst my top pizza spots. Sadly they changed their recipe sometime in the last few months. It’s no longer that classic topsail rd savoury taste. It’d nothing better now than the cheapest pizzas around town but still with the classily high price. Topsail rd pizza was always a little on the expensive side but you didn’t mind paying because of what you got. Well the classic taste is gone but not the prices. I’ll give them one more try in 6 months. Im willing to bet that within a year Topsail Rd pizza will go out of business. Once all the regular/west Enders get a taste of this, most wont return. Too bad. Topsail Rd was one of the older pizza joints in the city and as far as I can remember hadn’t changed their recipe in roughly 40 years. ...

Was not impressed. I walked in the store, nowhere did it say I had to go to order, so I just stood up by the door untill the lady behind what seemed to be a bar asked me "do you want anything" So I walked down to the bar and said "where do I go to ask for pizza" And with a rude comeback, the lady said "I'll get it for you" but in a snarky comeback, as if I was suppose to know ?

The store smells like musky old men, and like it has been smoke in for 40+ years. The pizza tastes like it was old and stale. The crust looked like it had been previously frozen then cooked.

Service, I could rate a 1 star Food quality & taste a 1 star Overall expierence ... if I could rate less than 1, trust me, I would.

I do not reccomend this somewhere you take your family...

After introducing my kids to a pizzeria in Florida over vacation they’ve been trying to find a pizza that they like the same same here. This is twice sense we got back from Florida we’ve had TRP (once in person and once delivered) and both of my kids said that we have to rate it at 10 out 10. Delivery was less than a half an hour to the East End and the pizza is still hot A medium pizza was enough to feed me and both kids twice. This time we decided to go with an extra large so we have extras for our movie night and breakfast lol The only downside to eating in is it’s a small area and once the door is open, it gets cold quickly.
