$9.00 for 2x 2 scoops of hard ice cream... yup. To much. Not going back. $9.00 will buy you 5ltr Nestle Oreo ice cream. Actually it's less than that.

Today May 27th ... burger n' fries $9.95 AND then + HST ... so $11.45 for a dry burger and asked for fries, extra crispy! They were limp and some were still not cooked ... oh and add $2.00 for the drink that doesn't come with the the meal.... So all together ... a whopping $13.75 x 2 because my daughter REALLY wanted to have a treat.

$27.50!!! Nope.... NO WAY I'M GOING TO BACK THIS SUMMER.

Now the meal at the Cove Motel in Canso is the place to be!! 2 for 1 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday see the picture. Yeah, freaking awesome. $20.18 and that includes your draft beer as well...

Food is OK. As a regular here, have to say that the usual consistency, this place was known for, has diminished. Had my usual fish and fries three days ago, and the fish was not haddock as advertised. I'm a fisherman, I know my fish. Last summer had fish 3 times, and each time the haddock was good, but batter was not cooked through to the fish.. was gross. Doubt we will return. The staff is very friendly and the service was fast. We took the seafood platter and it was ok...

Everything is deep fried and tasted kind of the same. The fish was really greasy even if it tasted kind of good. Same for the scallops, the shrimps and the clams, all good but to greasy. The fries were normal fries, looked like McCain’s fries.
