Sisters Cafe Western Pizza — Restaurant in Strasbourg

Worker didn’t answer the phone to take an order for pick up so we went to see if the restaurant was open and if so we would eat in (I get it, it can be a little busy). However, when we got there we saw there was only ONE other customer drinking coffee (no food), it was not busy at all. So, as planned we decided to sit in, maybe she was busy earlier when we tried to call. Turns out she just didn’t feel like working, so she completely ignored us for the 10+ min we waited up front until we walked out. We popped next door to the grocery store for something to take home and when we came out she was sitting outside having a cigarette. We usually love this place but the fact that this staff members was too lazy to do her job has turned us right off. Really great food and atmosphere. Excellent staff and service; always greeted with a smile. A great place to have dinner with the family or just picking up to take home.

As I write this review the owner is talking with my family and also helping customers that come in. She has great energy and you can tell she really cares about her customers.

I split the western pizza and the backdoor burger. Both really great. The burger was cooked perfectly and had really great toppings. The bun held up well with all the toppings.

Very nice pizza as well. The crust is a deep dish and done very well. Crisp crust and chewy crumb. I do not typically like a deep dish crust but this was good. The toppings were freshish. I think most of the ingredients come frozen but still of a decent quality.

When we stopped in this place we were not expecting delicious food. It's a tiny hole in the wall in a small city in the middle of nowhere.... Yet the food was amazing and tasted so freshly made. I got a cute little alfredo pasta that was so filling I could hardly finish it while my companions got the Backdoor Burger which sounds goofy but was yummy. We also tried a small pizza and were impressed by the quality - it's essentially deep dish pizza though not as saucy (which is great for me).
