Sunburst Lodge Restaurant — Restaurant in Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality

Love the new renovations, beautiful wood beam ceilings and a full cafeteria and bar. Food is upper modest pricing and portions are big. Alcohol prices are super reasonable, and they have a Starbucks outlet (not the real deal, but close). Wi-Fi is a struggle to find, but there are a couple bars of 4g cell service.

They serve until 3, and close at 3:30. Perfect spot to refuel on the hill. Easily accessible from the sunburst chair lift.

Lower lodge is pre-renovation with a dining area for home-brought foods, and washrooms in decent shape. Kind of like the economy class...

On arriving noticed the expansion to the Restaurant great improvement to the old place. Gave them 3-stars in 2018 for lack of options, but 5-stars in 2019. Menu has been updated with a larger variety of food (thankfully the $11 hot dog that took 20 minutes to prepare is gone), and the portions are enough for two people. Tasty wraps, decent soups, and you get to eat at 6000 feet of elevation looking out the bay window saying "wow".
