I feel so bad for these poor baristas. The owner has set them up for failure by not teaching them how to make proper coffee and then left the country to Korea so the blame all falls on them.
Today I went in and ordered a flat white. Pretty simple right? Well I actually ended up getting a VERY foamy “flat white” with no white dot, no flatness and they use cream instead of the traditional whole milk which on itself is fine but when you use cream and give a ton of foam that is no longer a flat white and is not even a cappuccino but an overpriced disaster.
I did end up getting some treats as well but that was a mess too! No itemized receipt because they’re out of ink and the owner is in Korea?! Uhm staples is close by so I don’t think that should be an issue but….anyway I get the receipt that IS NOT itemized and realize they overcharged me. Poor barista has to deal with the outcome but it’s the owner’s fault for setting up the system in a way that doesn’t match the pricing in the display.
I FEEL BAD FOR YOU BARISTAS! This owner is a garbage.
There should never be foam on a FLAT white lol.
(Starbucks is hiring please come here and you will be taught how to make proper coffee and have a manager that has your back instead of running...
Read moreVery bad customer service at this place, and it's not the first time it happened. I've observed that at several occasion, the guy at the counter never seemed to be friendly. Today I bike to this place with my kids, and unfortunately forgot my face mask. I requested this guy if you got a spare mask so that I can pay for it and buy drinks for myself and kids, and if don't have it, to take mt order and bring it outside so that I can pay for it. But he simply ignored my requests and said NO. I mean, at all places the shops are advised to keep spare masks, but this place has none. At that time, there was no customer inside and he was just wandering around, that's it. I ask this question to readers, is this the way of dealing with your customers? If the shop was full and he had no time, then I can understand, but this is height of arrogance. I'll never ever visit this place again and will advise everyone the same. If anyone want to get humiliated, feel free to go there.
If you are reading this review, then you know it very well what happened. I could have said all this at your face, but that won't have caused any effect on your attitude. Hope you'll get some better business sense after reading it. And if not, then you need...
Read moreI'm reluctant to share about this awesome cafe in case it impacts my ability to secure a seat on my next visit! But truth be told, with so many seating options I really shouldn't worry. My favorite spot after checking out all the nooks, crannies & hallways, was the patio by the parking lot. It was a perfect escape for enjoying a sunny day with big, broad umbrellas & a border of wildflowers & hedges to give that old-English cottage vibe. My coffee frappe was delicious and my straw didn't disintegrate before I finished my drink (IYKYN). The only disappointment was the lemon bar I chose - once unwrapped, it appeared to have been sliced with the same knife used to cut something with chocolate icing. I didn't like the base or topping either, but the sample of loaf my friend shared was good (the standard baked goods you can find in many other cafes). Apparently their soup was popular as it sold out just before I arrived. Parking is free, but limited and due to the entrance proximity to the i tersection, easier to access if you're...
