7" steak sub priced a little high at $13.29, especially considering the herb-flavoured oil for the sub tasted rancid and sort of ruined the whole thing. Poutine was good. Server was fairly attentive, but her lack of English made it impossible to do anything but order straight from the menu without any questions, as she was impatient to try to converse with in my less-than-perfect French when she didn't understand questions in English. Was given bill on the table but not told where to pay, servers were all rushing around and not making eye contact, I asked one where to check out and just got pointed towards the back somewhere. Lined up behind 4 customers ordering or picking up take-out pizza, finally got to the window, the lady took my money but I never did see if this was the sit-down cash place or not. Not a big deal, but did not feel...

It was not a good experience for us. The portions were extremely small for the price. the chicken fingers are almost $20 and the plate looks like a kid's meal. My meal was just OK. It took a long time to get our bills and food. We stayed longer than expected as we had a long drive, and we ended up an hour late to our destination because of the wait here, even though we had budgeted at least an hour for dinner at the restaurant.

There were also children screaming and playing in the bathrooms. Children of both genders far too old to be doing that going in and out of the toilets and hiding in the stalls of the women's toilets. I couldn't use the bathroom without having to tell them to stop. More of a parenting issue than a restaurant issue, but something to be aware of in terms of restaurant atmosphere.

Something good of note - our waitress did not speak English but did a great job understanding my broken French. She was very nice.

Ce n'était pas une bonne expérience pour nous. Les portions étaient extrêmement petites pour le prix. les doigts de poulet coûtent presque 20 $ mais l'assiette ressemble à un repas d'enfant. Mon repas était meh. Il a fallu beaucoup de temps pour obtenir nos factures et notre nourriture. Nous sommes restés plus longtemps que prévu car nous avions un long trajet en voiture et nous nous sommes retrouvés avec une heure de retard sur notre destination à cause de l'attente ici, même si nous avions prévu au moins une heure pour dîner au restaurant.

Il y avait aussi des enfants qui criaient et jouaient dans les toilettes. Des enfants des deux sexes bien trop vieux pour faire ça, entrer et sortir des toilettes et se cacher dans les toilettes des femmes. Je ne pouvais pas utiliser la salle de bain, je devais leur dire d'arrêter. C'est un problème avec des parets, ce n'est pas de problème de restaurant, mais quelque chose à prendre en compte en termes d'atmosphère de restaurant.

Notre serveuse ne parlait pas anglais mais elle a essayé comprendre mon français mauvais. Elle était...

We drove 10 hours from Cape Breton and figured some real food would be good! My bf and I were at first put off by the 30 minute wait for calamari and then abother 20 minutes til our entree arrived. Now this is gonna be awesome, right? Wrong!!! They got the order wrong then attempted to make a new one...after another 10 minutes i cancelled the new one and proceeded to cash out. Together my bf meal which was GROSS AND THE CALAMRI WHICH WAS RUBBER COST 30 BUCKS...NO ATTEMPT AT A DISCOUNT...And i stil havent ate!!! DEFINATELY DO NOT...
