10/10! This place is absolutely amazing. Every now and again, you find a special place that feels like home away from home and this is definitely it for us. We were lucky enough to find this bakery/deli when staying for a month just down the road from here - and it became our "go-to" for baked goods, lunch and dinner, with us coming here 4-5 times a week (either to pick up and eat at home or to enjoy in their amazing water-side picnic area). It's THAT good.

The baked items are all SO fresh and masterfully made - they clearly know what they're doing and are professional bakers here. We've had everything from the cheesecakes, brownies, cupcakes, tuxedo cake... Everything was fantastic.

The actual lunches/dinners are also incredible. That lobster roll is phenomenal! The lobster is SO fresh, the bread is what dreams are made of (lol), and the sauce is really well-balanced. In addition, they're very generous and give a lot of lobster per roll - it's actually hard to finish. In addition, they charge far less than anyone around - which is shocking because the quality is far above and beyond any other ones we've had. We've travelled all over the world and US (New England, where lobster rolls are famous) and the lobster rolls at White Sails outshine any we've had elsewhere. Additionally, we're so grateful they offer Impossible Burgers - and WOW they grill these up so well that I've become addicted to them. ;) They also offer really large portions of fries that are always well-cooked and always taste of fresh/clean oil.

There are a ton of drink options so there's something for everyone. And, it's nice how they do so many different events and feel like a warm, integral part of the community.

Lastly, the crew here are amazing. The owners (Lindsay and Charbel) are some of the hardest-working people we have ever met. They are SO kind, caring, go out of their way to make a connection with customers and all while working 7 days a week (and I can't even imagine how many hours) while consistently delivering high-quality, award-worthy products -- and while raising beautiful family. Their team is also so incredibly hard working and they often juggle so many tasks seamlessly and cheerily (and often when it's wicked hot outside). A special shout out to River, who really went above and beyond and was always a delight to chat with.

Thanks so much for helping make our stay here in NS fantastic - our hearts and bellies will greatly miss...

Came here for lunch. when ordering the $25 lobster roll, was told that they have enough for one more, but not to worry because they “definitely don’t cheap out on the amount of lobster”

The meal came out and was missing the lobster roll completely… anyways, finally got it and upon receiving the lobster roll noticed that it was very small… not much lobster at all, smothered in Mayo, was mostly made of bread and was warm and gross. Being unsure, asked another customer who agreed and had said hers had nearly double the amount of lobster in it… went to the counter to politely ask for a refund and they said “nope that’s what you ordered so unfortunately that’s what you get.” We said this is a terrible excuse of a $25 lobster roll and would be leaving a review and the woman working essentially smirked and walked away shutting the takeout window behind her. Being stuck eating this $25 excuse of a lobster roll was upsetting enough but then biting into a chunk of claw really did it in for me. Easily avoidable and could’ve been fixed but instead they chose not to.

At least the water was nice.

Will not...

The owners and/or management should really be embarrassed by the quality of food and service provided.

We ordered a kid's burger, grilled cheese and smoked meat sandwich for the 3 of us. Asked for cheese on burger, didn't get it. Went back inside and they slapped a cold piece of cheese in there. Thanks for that. Glad I paid the extra dollar to make the kiddo happy. Then discovered the Smoked meat sandwich that was supposed to come with a pickle did not. Didn't even bother going back inside yet again for that one.

Unfortunately when its younger kids running the shop, I can't really expect better service. I don't blame the kids running things.

The minimum tip suggested is 15% before any service is delivered. That absolutely blows my mind. There was no service here. It's take an order, and then you go pick it up. Very bold of them to suggest this with their system. Quite expensive meal for what it was.

Shame, It's a lovely spot to sit outside and dine however. Maybe it was my fault for going...

First visit and would return if in the area. As soon as the poutine was open you could smell the delicious beef gravy. They use fresh cut fries, nice and crispy. The gravy was delicious, flavorful and not overly salty. Cheese curds were nice and big. Good portion for a "small"... I asked for a sandwich recommendation, she said the clubhouse was her favorite. A few choices for sauce, I got the garlic mayo and was it ever a good choice! Very well prepared with homemade bread, multi grain. Fresh cut tomatoes, lettuce, fresh turkey (not a deli one) and it was devoured a quarter at a time. We tried to get some take out cabbage rolls, mac and cheese but they were already sold out. Nice take out list and if not Thanksgiving weekend, you might stand a chance lol Definitely a community gem here, lots of picnic tables outside. Wheelchair accessible parking, but 3 stairs to get inside going down. No indoor seating or bathrooms I could see. Edit to say washrooms on the left... :)
