Stought's Eatery & Pub — Restaurant in Tecumseh No. 65

My family and I came here once, my food was mediocre at best and my wife and kids burgers were completely inedible. The waitress ignored us and played on her phone at the bar the entire time. I even had to go get her so we could pay our bill.

We thought we would give it a second chance after seeing so many good reviews. The second time we went was even worse. The food was horrible and my son and myself got sick an hour after eating, my wife and daughter could not even eat their chicken the food was slimy and had a funk to it. Al most all the tables were covered in food and plates so if anyone else were to come into the restaurant they wouldn’t be able to sit. And again after bringing our water and food the waitress lest and played on the phone at the bar the entire time I even had to go get her to ask for a water refill. Not one tables was cleared while we ate. And I had to go get the waitress a second time from the bar to get our bill to leave.

I’m staying at the Poplar Tree Inn and after oversleeping I decided to come here for breakfast as people who stay at the inn are awarded a discount when they come to the restaurant. I wasn’t expecting much as this is a small town with limited options, but this place exceeded all of my expectations. I had the vegetarian breakfast wrap with fries on the side and it was DELICIOUS! This is better than any breakfast wrap I have ever tried. The generosity of the server and the friendliness of the rest of the kitchen staff was the icing on the cake. Everyone in stoughton and Regina should give this place a try. I have discovered a hidden gem and this will be the reason I come back here every year for my road trips.
