Thessalon's hidden gem. Im sure there are many more in the area and I will review them once I've discovered them. I and 2 co-workers drove through cold and rain on our bikes just to try the "fried chicken". Wow!!! ,for now on I will only eat fried chicken from this place. Hot, fresh . The batter is light, crisp and melts in your mouth. Not to mention the lack of grease. Awesome food and fantastic service.Homemade food with friendly small town service. No be prepared fresh fried chicken isnt fast food. Be patient , have a bowl of their heavenly "soup of the day", with a couple of great friends while you wait for your chicken! My Wife & I travelled past on our Harley on our way up North. Linda is the owner. We were not sure of what route to take to see the best of this area, nor a place to stay the night. We had a great breakfast on July 5th, the best part was Linda's kindness. While the food, service and view (you can see Lake Huron from the dining area) was top notch, Linda went out of her way. I suspect this is just who she is as a human being. While eating Linda called some resorts to see if there were any vacancies while suggesting the best place to ride, stop to eat, etc. What a great place to eat and find a new reason to believe in humanity again.

We spotted this restaurant while we were in a small park on the shore of Lake Huron wondering what to cook in the camper for lunch. Why cook when there’s a restaurant just a few metres away? Boasting all day breakfast and sandwiches galore (all with delicious fries!) we decided on a chicken Caesar wrap for me and a clubhouse for him. We enjoyed our choices very much because, well, bacon!
