Burger: The burger was a solid choice. The patty was juicy, with a good sear on the outside, giving it a nice, slightly crispy texture. The toppings were fresh – ripe tomato, onions. The bun was soft and held everything together without falling apart, which is always a plus. Overall, a well-balanced and satisfying burger that hits all the right notes.

Poutine: The poutine was where things got really interesting. The fries were perfectly cooked – golden brown and crispy, with a fluffy interior. The cheese curds were fresh and squeaky, just as they should be. And the gravy? Rich, savory, and perfectly coats the fries and curds without making them soggy. It’s a hearty, comforting dish that's hard to put down....

Okay. I'm a guy that has had more than a few burgers in my day, and this very well could be the best I've had. The staff is courteous and friendly (despite working in 37°C weather with no AC). The portions are huge, the burgers are amazing, the drinks are icy cold, the views are beautiful. I cant say enough about this place! My wife and I drove up from Winnipeg, and next time we come back up north, Popeyes is an absolute rest stop!

The place has been run by the same lady for over 50 years. I'm 42 and had my first ever cheeseburger here way back in the early 80's. I grew up in northern Manitoba but I haven't been back in about 22 years. When I discovered Popeyes was still there the decision of where to eat was an easy one.
