Ladysmith Hotel — Restaurant in Thorne

Great little restaurant. Don’t let the name fool you if planning travel, I don’t think they operate as a hotel

It’s sports bar/restaurant feel - a couple of TVs and plenty of sports discussions going on while we were there.

The wings were great - get the BBQ sauce if you’re not sure.

Fries and onion rings were great too.

Very kind staff. There’s a bit of a wait for the food as they cook as they go but the food you’ll receive is worth it.

It’s a small restaurant; do call ahead to reserve a table.

Washrooms are small but clean. You’ll have to back up on the toilet to open the stall door so avoid wearing a dress. ;-). Paper towel holders are also a bit high for younger crowd.

If you’re not from the area, it’s a known local staple. They even sell hats and shirts with their name. If you notice a lot of dune-buggies in the parking lot, you may have stumbled in during hunting season with people regaining their strength at the end of the day.

Really pleasant atmosphere. Brought my pick eaters with me and they liked their food too.

This place is a must stop! Amazing atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food!

Maggie was our server. She was outgoing, very friendly and went above and beyond our expectations! There were 4 of us and my husband and I split a chicken ceaser wrap and upgraded our fries to a poutine. She split our meal before she brought it out which was fantastic. I also tried their homemade wing sauce to spice up my wrap: it had quite the kick to it.

The atmosphere of the place is very unique and we all enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be back next time we are up...

This restaurant is AMAZING. The customer service is always great, really great people working there. Wings are amazing, the 366 burger is also really amazing too, all I’ve ate there was wings, the 366 burger, deep fried cheese curds and fries. All amazing foods, going to have to try their other options on the menu that are probably also really good too. That place is by far my favourite place to eat, me and my family of 4 go there all the time, love the place, love the vibe in there it’s really overall a great place. Love the...
