Placed two orders for pickup - Chicken Salad sandwich with fries & gravy & Mozza Sticks - both were disgusting & I had to fight for a partial refund. $17.75 order - offered $5.00 because some had been eaten

I live in Thorsby - two blocks from the restaurant. I was told the order would be ready in 20 minutes - picked it up in 15.

I ate some of one half sandwich; but when I bit into the second I got a mouthful of grizzle. The fries were rubbery - like they were left over & the gravy was cold, salty & lumpy.

The Mozza Sticks were my husband's order - he ate 3 of them - they tasted like they were done in the oven not deep fried like you'd expect Mozza Sticks to be.

I returned the food to the restaurant no more than 15 minutes after picking it up. The lady that served me asked what was wrong - told her the food was disgusting.

She said she wouldn't be able to refund me - that she'd have Jerry - the owner call me. I convinced her to call him & after waiting 15 min - I was offered a measly $5.00 of my $17.75; because I'd eaten some of the food.

I would have had to have eaten some of the sandwich to be able to tell there was grizzle; the fries to say they were rubbery; the gravy salty cold & lumpy. My husband had to have eaten some of the Mozza Sticks to say they tasted like they were done in the oven

I was at the family restaurant again today and got a take out order of two 12 inch pizzas one of them was a taco pizza with no onions and the other 12 inch was called the chefs mistake and I was there a few other times but one once a month and I order the same pizzas but sometimes a larger size and when I walked in this evening the person at the till was very friendly and even recognized me that I was in there last month only and even the staff that are working in the kitchen are always smiling and they are very personable to and will say hi and joke and even ask how your day is goin gonna when they have time between orders. And when I placed my order they told me it would a 25 minute wait and when I came back it was only 20 minutes and my two pizzas were both ready and hot to. I will always be going back to the the family restaurant in thorsby to order pizza and other food to because it is always hot and delicious and the staff is always friendly and personable to. The prices are very reasonable to and the plates of food are large...

Had today's special. Fettuccine Alfredo. No seasoning at all. Added salt and pepper and was tolerable. Came with beef veggie soup. Both the meal and soup came at the same time so by the time I got to Fettuccine it was cold. Coffee was watery. Wife had taco salad. Watched the prep cook make the salad with no protection on her hands. Came with ground beef as a topping. Ground beef was burnt and hard. Lots of letuce and cheese in taco salad but again it was tasteless. No seasoning at all. Disappointed to say the least. Wait staff was there. I guess for a paycheck. Not real enthusiastic. Seeing that the restaurant business is just coming back I would expect far better....
