If you have given up on your health plan for the day and want to get a tad bit crazy. You should hit up Hodder Greeks, or as many Thunder Bay residents have come to call it Greasy Greeks, on account of the brown paper bag for the fries turning translucent from all the greasy goodness. This is a great spot for coney dogs, burgers, fries, poutine, Polish sausage or Italian sausage. This is not a gluten-free/vegan/vegetarian friendly place as I’m sure you have figured out by now. This is the spot for eating absolute pure garbage food, and I mean that in the most respectful way possible. The food served there is undoubtedly delicious. It’s just not considered a balanced and nutritious meal is all I’m getting at. However, everyone needs a treat from time to time, am I right? Help support this local business just as they do their part to help support Thunder Bay businesses. They have really cleaned the place up from the last time I saw it. The Poutinerie was a nice addition as well. There is also a few picnic tables outside, as this is not a sit down and dine establishment. I went with the classic poutine with cheese curds, not shredded cheese. Along with that masterpiece was the sloppiest of Coney burgers. They are as good as they are sloppy. Keep up the great work!

Just a corner location with no seating inside. I got the Coney Dog and an old Fashion Pautine. For those (like myself) who don’t know what that is, it’s fries with cheese curds smothering in brown gravy. The chili on the Coney Dog lacked flavor. Very bland. The Pautine was interesting. It was somewhat flavorless but I don’t think that’s the restaurant’s fault. It’s just the way it tastes. The clerk tried to get me to get one of the many other options that added more to it, but I was set on trying the original. Next time I’ll try the others. Lost one star for the chili. Not bad!

There are not nearly enough chili based restaurants around these days. I was here a few years ago but I just found the photos I took so here it goes. Very tasty, very simple and very authentic little burger joint. If I'm ever in thunder Bay again I will definitely be stopping by.

I went in expecting to order some lamb or a gyro or surely, at least a greek salad. Hahahah.. nope! i was disappointed to see no tradtional greek food on the menu. I instead ended up ordering a bacon double cheese burger and a baconator poutine. The bacon double cheese burger ended up as two (double) chili cheese burgers with bacon. The baconator was a monster sized poutine with real curds, good gravy and a substantial amount of bacon. I was not disappointed with the food or the service. Food was delicious and generous portions. Service was friendly and quick. All my disappointment stemmed from my own preconceived expectations. I totally recommend eating here, just go in with...

Burnt French Fries. Burgers tasted like it was in a warmer for hours. The manager does nothing about it. Poorly run operation !!!!

Look at the response I get. PM him or send an email. However, the owner neglects to provide with his email address, like I'm suspose to know it.

This is exactly what I mean by a poorly run operation. Starts with the owners and filters down to the staff.

My crew thinks this place is a joke, but at the very least it made them laugh.

By the way the owner would not replace our order like he stats in his response.

We won't be going there any more.

"B" rating from health department. I'm sure they do not have a safe food handling program in...
