Nice and Easy Restaurant's paper bag fried rice was a letdown. I was particularly disappointed by the clammy, tasteless rice and the chicken, which not only lacked flavour but also had an unappetising smell. I really should have gotten a photo, but the unexpected smell was quite distracting and I completely forgot. What really crossed the line, though, was their decision to include the pepper container directly in the food, all within that single paper bag – a big 'no' from me and quite unappetising.

Compounding the issues, the restaurant's dark and uninviting interior was already off-putting, but then I observed persons at a nearby table openly smoking both cigarettes and marijuana inside. This quickly made it clear that it's likely not a kid-friendly space, and the indoor smoking definitely made it even more unappealing to be inside.

We dropped in here for lunch and had a great meal. My husband had the cow feet soup. He loved it and I tried a taste and found it was delicious. He also had the curried goat which was recommended by our server and he was equally impressed. I had sautéed shrimp and rice which was also delicious. The owner/cook modified the dish for food sensitivities that I have but still managed to make it very flavourful for me. All of the dishes were hearty sized servings. I would definitely go back...

AMAZING food and service. The owner is lovely to talk to and very kind. We ordered fried chicken, wings and the seafood pasta. Their fried chicken was perfectly fried and flavourful. The wings had just the right amount of bbq sauce and came with some veggies and dip. The seafood pasta was the best part of our order.
