Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Toronto

I have visited this Tim Hortons several times, and am always pleasantly surprised at the courtesy and professionalism from most of the people working. The first time I visited, Keshav was wonderful. Huge smile and courteous. Very positive young man. We had a pleasant conversation and I left feeling grateful and excited to return again.

The next time I came Mahjabeen was superb. Polite and professional. I am always pleased to hear people saying "sir" as many people are no longer professional. She spoke in a wonderful tone with wonderful replies.

I received my drink from a younger gentleman who I will not name but he called me "buddy" which irritated me immensely. It is unprofessional to call someone "buddy." I am not your friend. You do not call someone you respect "buddy." It is okay to call someone who is a close friend "buddy" but not a customer. A guy will never call a girl "buddy." A guy will never call and older gentleman "buddy." A guy will never call their boss "buddy." It is a condescending word, used to put people down. You can say it's a "Canadian" thing but I prefer professionalism. I came back and spoke to the gentleman and told him why it was unprofessional and that it is not neccesary and he received the information politely. I was still upset since I had such a pleasant experience with Mahjabeen. Pleasant to upset. I will return, yet if I get called "buddy" again I will not.

A few days ago, I ordered two medium original iced caps. As I was drinking them, I noticed they tasted watered down and the color was off—like there wasn’t enough coffee compared to other locations. Since I had already started drinking them, I just let it go.

However, when I got home and checked my card transactions, I saw I was charged $8.57, even though the medium size should have been $7.58. What made me feel even more insulted was that the points I received reflected a medium size purchase 76 points meaning it was processed as $7.58, not $8.57.

This is a franchise. I can understand if the taste is slightly off sometimes, but how can even the payment be mishandled? Nothing was done properly from start to finish.

Tim Holton strange truck man. Because of your truck, the resident's car turned around hard again and went out and didn't even mark the entrance. The truck driver parked stupidly because the car was hard to pass by as if you saw the picture. If you parked to unload your luggage in the middle of the car where the residents are going, you have to let one side of the car pass. If you parked in the middle, you should be sorry and apologize. I think the woman driving in the car folded the side mirror and passed through such a narrow road. Then he sarcastic to me that a woman is passing by. It's pathetic I don't have to challenge my expensive car to drive dangerously 5 inches away.
